Auto-refresh Database Record When Other User Insert A Records

there are two computer connect to one shared database one of the user (user1) will insert new record then the records in (datagridview) of the user (user1) who insert the record will be 11 record but the(datagridview) of other user (user2) will still have 10 record.what the possible way that may allow me to refresh the records..Also how I can make a new record in datagridview of the user2 can be colored by yellow or red back color.
i'm working on a desktop application in vb.net, using vs 2005 and mssql 2005. i want to refresh the pages everytime i insert a record, but i only succeeded by having a load button where user has to click everytime they add a record to view the new record. Is there any way(s) to auto refresh those pages?
I have an issue that I can't seem to tackle. Going on 3 weeks. I have a VB.NET app with an sqlce 3.5 database. I have created several tables in this database. I have attached them to my form using DataSet then BindingSets and so forth. Done this many time before. VS automatically created a TableAdapterManager for me.I was having an issue getting the Refresh of the primary key value of a newly inserted row. I have a simple application for taking Customer orders and their Products. I am using Visual Studio 2008 Express Edition and MS Access 2007.My application uses multiple forms. One of the forms is an Add form from where a New Customer along with his/her details like address, phone, city, state etc can be added. Another form is for the Product Details to be added.I want to know how to retrieve a CustomerID from an MS Access 2007 database for either the newly added Customer or an existing one and insert multiple rows or records for the same CustomerID, as a Customer can order multiple products. I am in a situation where I have a tool which is always running. Now if any new entry is added or deleted from the database then unless we dont restart the application it will not reflect the changes. So I want that the application itself should check for the updates or at least it should refresh itself.

I'm in the process of making 2 database applications. Each are encountering their own set of errors. For this particular application, I have a "Main Menu" form that has a button which loads an "Add Record" form. The user is suppose to be able to insert new records here via text boxes, but the problem is that record with the first primary key is being displayed in the text boxes when the "Add Record" form loads. I have no idea and can't find anything anywhere about making these boxes blank. I'm connecting to the .accdb through a dataset.

Teh table only contains these 4 fields and another field which is an automatically generated number called nbrQuoteID .All of the fields are number fields but I have tried sending them as text to see if it made a difference (Threw up an error) but it didn't.

I have been following a tutorial in a book Vb 2005 Jumpstart Ch 4..Anyway I have followed the books code exactly and the program runs.It connects to Amazons web service and allows the user to search and display books, the application also allows the user to save the titles that they wish by clicking an Add Title button, when the user does this the current focus title is saved to the database and can be viewed off line.When I hit the add title the record gets saved as I can hit the catalog button which opens a new form with a datagrid that has all the titles I just saved in it!! But when I close the app and run it again the catalog is gone?? back to no records again?Now ive never worked with SQL databases before and this is me just having a go at .Net so I have no idea whats wrong or where to look.[code]

I am writing an application that does a number of different things with data downloaded from hardware which is monitoring the power used in my home and produced by my PV Solar array. I have run into a roadblock early on, because I cannot seem to get new data into an Access database that I have linked to my application by means of a DataSet. I have checked the DataAdapter's InsertCommand, DeleteCommand, and UpdateCommand definitions (created by the DataSet Wizard), and they seem to make sense, and nothing is throwing exceptions or otherwise making VB complain, but new rows added to the dataset are not being added to the database.

The INPUT line needs to be fixed. From what I can see, I need to move it all to a single field and use a split to parse it, correct? As I look at the entries on this site, all the code seems to use stream readers. Why would the book not do that? Am I missing something?
The system should not insert selected records from my datagridviewcheckboxcolumn if it's already existed in the database.It's like when you're registering online. If you're username/email address already registered,it would inform you that youre username/email is already registered and the site would ask you to change your username/email to new ones.The difference in my system is that i have 2 datagridviewcheckbox columns not just textboxes . Parent and Child in the datagridview. What i want to happen is that once the Code has been registered as Parent it cant be registered again as Child anymore.

Lets say i label "label1" , and 2 buttons named "button1" and "btnRefresh " [code]So , when user press the button 1 , the text will change. But what should i put inside btnRefresh to reload the forms ? and display the default label.text = "Form Load" ???
