Email - Log Into Windows Live Mail?

I want to make a program that tells you if you can login to an email account or not by entering their username and password into Windows Live.
It would connect to the Hotmail server and see if the user/pass combination is correct. If it can log in, it would display a label that the account is valid, if not it would say that the account is not valid.
Ok here's the totally incorrect code for logging in. I kind of borrowed it from sending an email:

I have tried the search button to no avail. I am attempting to make a feedback form to open on Windows Live Mail. The user clicks the "feedback" item on a menu strip and it opens Windows Live Mail with Process.start("code here blah blah.exe"). What I want to do from this is force open a new message.

I would like to create a tabular view of my data in which i would like to show dates as column header and room no as rows header. And room reservation data in that tabular form. I would also like to make date zooming from year, half yearly, month, week to day. Denote the reserved room in some color along with name too.
To my requirement, i found windows live mail's calendar control abit matching without zooming functionality.

I have a form1 that logs in the user to my hotmail/live email sender. In form1 I have 2 textboxes. First ask for email address for live/hotmail and the other ask for the password. Then it takes you to form2 (email sender). My problem is if the user enters a wrong password or email the program still takes them to form2... hence the program wont work if they try to send an email.. Is there a way I can verify if at form1 that the email and password is correct before it moves on the form2?

I was using the following code in order to send e-mails to my company's intranet accounts from a VB.NET 2003 aplication. However this code was marked as no longer valid when I migrated the application after installing Visual Studio 2005.modifying this code in order for my application to compile succesfully? I get the following error:Application-defined or object-defined error.From what I can understand, it's when I attempt to attach a file to the email, I get that error. What I noticed is that it's because the file is in use.Is there anyway to attach the file anyway? My users are simply not closing their files after saving, right now I'm using computer manager to kick them out. The process is for them to save a file on a server through a share and then I pick that up and send it. Works fine as long as they close the file after save.

I have an sql database with client email addresses.I need to send out reminders at certain dates that vary per client. Is there a way for me to draw only the clients that need to receive the reminders out of the database and then send an email to each one of them?From what I have found so far, it looks like I can set up the smtp fairly easily.I just don't know how to get the client's that I need and then cycle through each one.

Every time when I try to send emails to external Email ids using SMTPClient, it is failing (not sending and no error message). However, when I try to send Emails to my internal staff, it is working fine. I cant find the reason why it is not sending to External Contacts. Currently, to avoid errors from being thrown up due to invalid email addresses, I do the following:

However, rather than depending on Try..Catch, is there a way of validating that the email address will be 100% valid for the MailAddress type?I know there a plenty of regex functions out there for validating emails, but I'm looking for the function which the MailAddress type uses to validate its addresses.

I've implemented with Visual Basic 10 an application for Net Framework 4 with functionality to send files via e-mail using System.Net.Mail. It works well except when it comes to sending an XML file whose name contains accents. In the latter case the UTF-8 name is not correct, so Widows Mail Life presents him with name consisting of a set of meaningless characters. Furthermore, the content has lost the format of lines and spaces, presented part of MIME type information in the header, so that it is unreadable XML readers. My website creates an email from an HTML template using MailDefinition and ending up with a System.Net.Mail.MailMessage object.
Usually, I just call the Net.Mail.SmtpClient.Send method and the email is sent.
Now I need to be able to open the created email in the clients default mail program and then they click their email programs send button to send it.

I had a requirement to gloss up an email generated from bespoke system using 'mailto' to be glossed up. I don't believe I can produce HTML message using mailto so I decided to generate the mail using System.net.Mail.mailMessage. However, as the client wants to add to the email prior to sending it on I need to send it to the client's own email, allow them to edit using their email editor and they would then forward it to the target recipientUnfortunately, the tables on forwarding are reformatted.

Can I Post a Windows Application that uses Excel for live data calculations? Basically from the Windows app, a user makes a menu selection and which in turn opens an excel file in memory using it for calculations. These files are put together by different groups and formatted for the Windows app to build interfaces based on each file.I also accompany an .mdf file as well. Is all this possible for customers to access and run this with Windows Azure.

I really like the MSN notification popup. Basically the popup you see when you receive a new email etc. I'd like to put timers and set times so I, for instance, get a popup at 2PM saying "Don't forget..." I know I could make my own notification bubble but I'd prefer the WLM one.

Hey I'm using Vb .net 2008 Express Edition and i've tried Lots of stuff involving:

I was just wondering if there was a way with, using VB.net, be able to create a program to detect when a message is received in Windows Live Messenger, and alert the user?Essentially, MSN is minimized in background and our program, Program A, is also running in backgroung.Friend X sends us a message, the MSN icon blinks as usualy, but also a window pops up and shows the name of the user and the message.I was just wondering if there was a way to connect to MSN in some fom to be able to do this?
