IntelliSense will generate a little balloon that says 'Public ReadOnly Property Count() I saw the () after Count and thought that meant that was the proper way to code it. So that is what I did. The code seems to work with ...Count() or just ...Count. I was wondering if there is some reason why the parens show up after the description of the Property in IntelliSense.

Jun 10, 2009i have simple application which contain one listbox. i am loading item in listbox from one file. around 130000 items in it. when i run this application on xp computer i am able to scroll down all item perfectly from first to end. But when i run this application on vista machine, it only shows 50% of item if i scroll down with that bar on right on listbox. but when i reach end of list (which is item number 65000) and than use "Down arrow " of listbox it move to item n umber 65001 and later and scroll bar move again center of listbox. After i move to record number 65001 and more by clicking down arrow and use scroll bar at center to move further down to end it again shows 65000 item. But in windows xp it shows all item perfectly.

Capture Raw Signal From WiFi Card As Would A Sound Card
May 9, 2012Is it possible to capture the raw signal from a WiFi card in the same way you can capture the signal from a sound card? (I already found code for working with a sound card and for drawing spectrograms) I'm wondering because it would make a cool radio-type project. I'd prefer a solution that integerates well with .net (VB or C#).My basic goal is to capture the ambient radio waves and build a primative "telescope" of sorts. Using the built in computer hardware is just the easiest way to accomplish this. If you have any other suggestions about how to accomplish this goal in a different way please post it as an answer also.

Feb 7, 2011I am in the middle of building a very simple shopping cart in asp.net with a VB backend but I am running into problems with my code. When I run my application and try to add a product to the cart I get an error message.

Shopping Cart App In VB Using Arrays?
Mar 3, 2008I am trying to create a shopping cart in Visual Basic. I have most of it figured out. However, when I click the Add Cart button, the item will add; however, when I add a new item, it will not go to the next line to display it. It instead replaces the first item I added. For example if the user chooses 1111 for the part number and qty is 2 then clicks the Add to Cart button, the following will show in a group box below: 1111 Alarm Clock 2 $19.95 $39.90
If the person wants to add part number 2222 and qty is 2, that relating info should show up below the first entry of the Alarm clock. In my code, it's not doing that, it's just replacing the first line (alarm clock entry). However, it is keeping track of the total amount added to the cart.

Shopping Cart Gridview

i.e.
1) Select Products
2) Checkout
3) Confirmation
The selecting products screen will look like a gridview which will display.

So i.e. lets say I have 10 products per page so i.e. 10 quantity input boxes per gridview. And then I have 2 Buttons below my gridview i.e. Update and Checkout. Just even worrying about Update for now. How could that work i.e. would I have to check every input box in gridview for which a value was entered ?
I.e. is there any example how I can loop through gridview row check for a value which is greater than 0 or null for example and if there is a value then perform a function like [Code]

Oct 29, 2011I've used the same method to add items to a listview before but for some reason they're not showing, I even just tried a test:

I walked through the code having a message box pop up every time an item was added with the count and it goes up as it should, nothing throws an error, and the item has all the correct parameters. I commented out the making a new group and just plain add the items and it still didn't show. I tried the lstView in all the kinds of views (detail, small icon, etc.)
Application Like A Shopping Cart - Global Variable?
Dec 27, 2011My project is to create a shopping cart application. I have my main form and from there the user can go to two different forms to add books to their cart, the cart being the main form. This all works. What I can't figure out, is how to use global variables for the prices, shipping, tax and updating the total. I have places for this information to show up on the main form, and I've created a module for the calculations and prices, but I don't know how to code it to get the prices to show up in the specified areas.
