i have installed msdn library 2008 sp1. it is shown in the Programms but i cannot locate how and from where it to open. i donot know from where i will open that to use msdn library.

It appears CD2 is the primary one for VB. Do you know how I can get this specific CD --OR-- can I just download a newer version (i have been looking for both on MSDN with no luck)?

I'm using a dialup connection and I'd like to use a third porty download manager so that I can pause/shutdown/restart the download process a few times. View 6 Replies My program I wrote is using Outlook 12.0 lib for Outlook 2007. I have referenced this in the project. This exe will only be installed on computers that has Outlook 2007 on it. So with this being the case, do I need to bother including any of the lib files? Or just my exe?I have this in my form:

So I assume the Interop is all part of the object lib? I know this sounds crazy but I tried coding it using late-binding with many examples but just had too many problems. So I'm going to make three different exe's for versions 2003, 2007 and 2010.

View 3 RepliesI just converted a project from 2008 to 2010. I didn't encounter any errors in the conversion.I tried to add HTML Imports System.Threading.Tasks. This gives the "...doesn't contain any public member..." warning and naturally, the .Tasks library is not recognized. Is there any trick to the conversion, setting in the properties, etc. that I need to deal with?Note that I have a "from scratch" project that accesses the System.Threading.Tasks class with no problem. Both projects are contained in the same Projects folder as in:

I hv installed VS2010 Ultimate on my Samsung notebook win 7 home premium 64 bit. But one thing was wrong, i couldn't get sql express installed, with some error that i forgot. I can't see SQL Express menu on my menu list though unable to launch it.
after searching the net, it says that i might need Windows Installer 5 (SDK) which is 2,5 GB to download. Is it true that I need that SDK to install sql express properly? or it is not possible to have sql express on home premium 64bit?
All of the sudden, I'm no longer able to build a Solution without getting an error in VS 2010. A minute ago I was able to build, and now I can't.

In this class library project I cannot even access the AppSettings Keys. Is there any way I could access the AppSettings Key from my class?
