Move To Next Row In Dataset And Display In Hyperlink?

I'm writing an email application that will be used to send HTML news articles to clients. I'm using a dataset to return the headlines to display to the client. When I loop through the dataset the the latest record is returned but latest headline link is not displayed. So the outputted HTML is the same headline everytime, which is the first record in the dataset. How do I move to the next record in the data set and get the outputted HTML to display the next/correct headline?

How do I dynamically display the 'Edit' on the hyperlink field based on the values on the rows, generated from the database. the gridview automatically generates rows.
I am trying to hide Hyperlink visibility in Repeater if there isn't any Text value in Hyperlink. Something like this:

As a follow up to my previous question Putting together a tricky SQL query
since I now have the records returned as URL format, how can I display those as hyperlinks in my gridview? (this is how the client wants it done, not much I can say to change their mind)

Like the title says, I have about 10-15 rows in a local dataset. I need to take any one row,and make it the "default" (on a button click), meaning to take that row and stick it right at the top so it comes up first.I've been up and down the web for a few days looking at ideas, but I can't get around this one. Do I create a new row at the top, then have it copy the info over, then delete the old row, or is there a cleaner way of doing it? Does anyone have a code snippet they'd like to share
I have a label that is supposed to display a word for 5 seconds and then move down the list in a text file and display the next word.I'm oddly able to make it work in random mode, but not going down the list in order.. random would be ok if used words didn't come up again.

I have tried googling so much that I have given up trying to look. I am trying to display a dataset in a wpf datagrid. After that I am going to need to display the individual column value in textboxes. I can then change the value in those textboxes and pressing, say, a commit button, to commit the changes to a database. Here's the code I have so far.

It was written in vb6 and im trying to rewrite it in vb.net. I've completely stripped the program down from all the unneeded fancy addons and now just have the needed code to run it. The program retreives the records, but does not populate these records onto a datagrid.

I am making a combobox from my data source. Basically, This is a projects form and the user needs to select the the primary contact which is contrained by the customer id (GETbyCustomerID) set in another field. I have it working... mostly except the combobox only displays the contact ID which is completely useless to the user. I need to know how to display the First and Last name (both are seperate columns in the table).
The situation: I have a small application where i store customers and orders.. In my database i have a tabel called Customers and a tabel called Orders. These 2 dabases are joined on Customer ID - every Order record contain a row with the customer Id.

I am trying to use a ListView to display records from a dataset. In these records, I have 4 columns: EmployeeID, EmployeeName, CustomerID, and CustomerName. It is possible for both the Employee and Customer to be listed multiple times, but with different combinations.

What's going on with mine is I add say (1A) to the listView and then when it tries to add (1B) I get an error saying that it cannot add the same item.

I want to display dataset records in textboxes instead of GridView. I also want to provide next, previous and search option to navigate between records in the dataset. And I also want to provide update and delete buttons to update and delete the current record that is being displayed.
How can I count how many rows are returned by a dataset and then show the total number of rows as extbox.text and read-only so that the user can only see them but not change them?
so far I have this but it dosent return a number and says it cant find table 0:tbRecordsFound.Text = ds.Tables(0).Rows.Count

I have a form that i am using for my ticket software where i am wanting to take the section combo box an have it only display the sections out of my dataset. here is something like i am wanting to do. this is my data table

Then it go to
A B 2 A B 4
I want to have a combo box for each one Section, Row#, Seat# and when I drop down the box for section it will just give me the section and then when I go to the Row# box and drop it down it will give me just the rows in that section and then in the seat box it just gives me the seats in that row.
I'm working with a zedgraph bar chart and displaying only certain values from a dataset. I have a dataset with 912 records. One field is called "DeviceName" and one is called "TimesOffline". I am able to bind the chart to the dataset, but it wants to plot all 912 records. What I need is to somehow sort the dataset to retrieve the top 10% (or something) devices with the highest number of times offline.

I currently have an excel spreadsheet that has a macro that displays information from my sql server. Everything works fine with it. Im trying to embed that into my vb project though. Anyone know what the best route to go would be to do this. Should I try to convert the vba macro and display the results to a dataset?Or should I try to recreate the connection through VB to display the results? or is that sort of the same thing?
