I have a question regarding radio buttons. I am creating a little prog that has three separate radio button groups. After selecting one button in each group, I would like a text box to display a value. The text box value will be a number between 50 and 350 or so.
View 19 RepliesI am using control groups per question and inside 5 radio buttons so they choose an answer. Its 25 questions and 5 questions per "page". On the same frame I just initially show the 1st 5 questions and as the student answers them and hit next hide those 5 and show the next 5. Here is where the problem begins, not a problem per-se but still bugs me. One of the next 5 questions will already be checked inside a control group for one of the radio buttons.
I have checked the properties and they all show on "Checked: False". Is there somewhere in code where I can make sure they are false or it may be the fact that I have 5 control groups on top of each other? Because I want the student to be able to show the next 5 questions only if he has answer the 5 being shown. Also the 1st 5 are never marked unless by user its only when I show the next 5 ones and hide the initial 5.
Could someone enlighten me on how radio buttons work?Is there a way to retrieve a single value from a group of radio buttons that indicates which radio button in the group is checked?
In the documentation, it said to set the "Group" property; however, my radio buttons don't have a group property, at least that I can find.
I realize that I could iterate through the radio buttons and find the one that is checked, but that seems like it defeats the purpose of radio buttons.

View 3 Repliesi have problem that i know once someone answers, i will kick myself, but here goes. i need to move the text next to the radio button to the left of the radio button, that part is easy just make sure the the "right to left" is maked yes, got it. but, the problem is i am making a seating chart and the seats are labeled 10-a, 10-b etc.... when the right to left is set to yes my text reverses and becomes a-10 and i can't seem to figure out what is set in the properties the is causing the alpha to be placed before the numeric.

When the user clicks a radio button it displays a tick or cross depending whether the answer is correct or incorrect. I also want to display, on a label, the number of correct answers with the number of attempts. i.e 1 out of 3. View 2 RepliesI am stuck on how to assign values on a label or text box.The issue is the following:I have two tables, one called A and the second one called B.Table A has tree fields: id, name, lastname...Table B has five fields: id, level1, level2, level3, level4..The idea is to save A.id into level1, level2, level3 and level4. I know how to assign and save the values on the DDBB using DDL, but when I want to show the values using labels, I get the first value always, this is becuase the select command is configures in that way. If I use ddl instead label, it works, but I do not want to show the value using ddl. I want to use label to show the values, and ddl to modify or add new data into the DDBB.[code] As you can see the level1 uses label, and level2 uses ddl, it was the only way to get the value for level2, otherwise if I use label on level2 it display level1 value instead.I would like to know if there is any way to assign different value using anything but ddl.

My question... how can I double click the listbox, and then it keeps adding these groups to say... another text box, and when I click add groups it will read the textbox, and add multiple groups instead of just the one?
