I've got 2 seperated programs.
One is a program where you can select a product and select how many of them you want. Then the total price wil be displayedin a label. And the list of selected products will be saved in a .txt file.
The second program is an Edit program. The user can edit his selected products. Here he can change the total of a product.So if he had selected 1, he can change it to three or something. When the user clicks the button Save. The changes will besaved in the same .txt file and the total price will also be changed and displayed in program one.
Program one is compleet.Program two has problems and here i need your help:- the user can't make a change in the numbers, seems that the textbox is read-only or something. How to solve?- Then when i click save, the changed must be saved in the .txt ( i can't test this yet because no changes can't be made)- the total new price must be showed in program 1 (i think i programmed this well, but can you take a look)

i have problem that i know once someone answers, i will kick myself, but here goes. i need to move the text next to the radio button to the left of the radio button, that part is easy just make sure the the "right to left" is maked yes, got it. but, the problem is i am making a seating chart and the seats are labeled 10-a, 10-b etc.... when the right to left is set to yes my text reverses and becomes a-10 and i can't seem to figure out what is set in the properties the is causing the alpha to be placed before the numeric.

Why won't it evaluate that rblOne.SelectedItem.Value = "No" !?!?!? I tried rblOne.SelectedValue, that doesn't work, AND I added .ToString to both, which did not help, I even tried it w/ "No".ToString...this doesn't make any sense.

I have 2 drop down lists and 1 submit button. It works such that after the user has selected values from BOTH the drop down lists, then the user will click a "Search" button. My problem is, after the user click the "Search" button, the second drop down list is no longer displayed with the selected value, instead it displayed a default value. May I know how can I make sure the selected value remain selected even after the user clicks the "Search" button on the page?

For instance Each Text file has my old company name and I want to be able enter my new name into the textbox and click the command button and the app will open each text file, find the text that I specify and replace it with my new name then save the file into a specified folder.What elements should I be studying to make this happen? So far this is what I've come up with:
OpenFileDialog - to open the file
StreamReader - to read the text files and find the text that I specified
**Not sure on the replace method**
StreamWriter - to write the text from the textbox to the new file
SaveFileDialog - to save the file to the specified location

View 2 RepliesI am stuck on how to assign values on a label or text box.The issue is the following:I have two tables, one called A and the second one called B.Table A has tree fields: id, name, lastname...Table B has five fields: id, level1, level2, level3, level4..The idea is to save A.id into level1, level2, level3 and level4. A.id can be the same or not. I know how to assign and save the values on the DDBB using DDL, but when I want to show the values using labels, I get the first value always, this is becuase the select command is configures in that way. If I use ddl instead label, it works, but I do not want to show the value using ddl. I want to use label to show the values, and ddl to modify or add new data into the DDBB.[code] As you can see the level1 uses label, and level2 uses ddl, it was the only way to get the value for level2, otherwise if I use label on level2 it display level1 value instead.I would like to know if there is any way to assign different value using anything but ddl.
