but i have this exception call System.UnauthorizedAccessException which access to the path i wanted to save is denied. however, if i just save the original pic using FUImage.SaveAs(physicalFolder & FUImage.FileName) it is able to work. i just want the pic to be resized and save it.
When I resize my Image it become's more blurred...Like for example, when I resize it larger....It blur's and when I reduce the size to it's original size it just blurred more...in short every time I change the Size of the image it becomes more blurred.

No compilation errors, but it^ doesn't center the image. As a matter of fact, there's no noticeable difference at all.
i made a vitual dekstop and i have a few problems that to be fixed. The first problem i have is that i have a picturebox as the entire form like the desktop background but the progrblem is that i have some group boxes over that picturebox box. View 5 RepliesThe images on my e-commerce website are watermarked with an aspx script, therefore when you are browsing products, if you want to save the image it saves it as aspx rather than jpg or png. The thing is I need to give urls of jpg for a website that advertises products. There are more than 10,000 products so I can't save all of them manually, so I made a page with jquery that get's the image part of the product display page. What this page returns is this:

And the output is only an image. How can I return this image not as an aspx page but as a jpg or png? Since there's a script for watermarking the image and making it aspx, shouldn't there be a reverse function?

Btw (For the first code)If I press the Button the first time and i paste it manually(ctrl+v) to the paint the printscreen image is appeared.Also If i debug the code it works perfectly and it produces the .bmp file.
So im thinking its a timing issue , so I put a sleep(3000) after the keybd_event(VK_SNAPSHOT, 0, 0, 0) command and it still doesnt work.

This code is what I am using to save image after it is re sized, It will not save the new image, it saves the old image and the old size. I am using a picture box to import the image into, then I am resizing the picture box and the image. But when it is saved it reverts to the original image.

View 3 RepliesI'm a VB beginner.I've been playing with Graphics.DrawString by watermarking a picture with a text string. The picture below to the left comes from PictureBox with a text string drawn with Graphics.DrawString. The font style used is Arial 48 points, regular, I think. The picture in PictureBox shows just as I configure. Great... The resolution of the original Terri Hatcher picture is 300 dpi (300 x 300). Exporting this picture with Graphics.DrawString, I get the picture below to the right. The text string appears a lot bigger than previously shown in PictureBox. It turns out that the text size varies, depending on the resolution of the original picture. That's kind of odd. I develop several graphics applications in a different environment and have never seen this sort of graphics.drawstring thing. Anyway,

now here is the weird part. When I save the image the filesize INCREASES..but the picture dimensions are the same Example... TEST.PNG 1.3KB, when opened up via picturebox/saved the image is now 2.3KB
not sure why...i even though I specify system.drawing.imaging.imageformat.PNG
samething with JPG... it actually SHRINKS it evenmore.. example 88KB jpeg.. saved as jpeg is now 47.7KB...
