User Right Clicked On Grid1 Or Grid2?
Mar 5, 2011I have 2 datagridview (grid1 and grid2) on a form. When the user performs a right mouse click, how do I know whether the user right clicked on grid1 or grid2?

May 12, 2011I have a Windows vb.net project that does an occasional "auto refresh" based on a 20 minute timer. I want to avoid any type of auto-refresh... if the user has manually had any interaction with the program (mouse move, click, keystroke, anything) in the past 5 minutes.
I added a global variable "Dim g_LastActivity As Date" so the timer can detect that 5 minute mark.
Is there some place to put my "g_LastActivity = NOW" line that will ensure it will happen during ANY user activity? All mouse clicks, on all buttons, all mouse moves, anywhere, all keystrokes, basically EVERYTHING.

Give Prompt When User Clicked The X To Close Application/Window?
Apr 16, 2011I know how to add an exit button with a prompt. However, I do not have the slightest cluse as to how I can add this same functionality to the window so that if the user clicks the X in the upper right corner, there is a prompt message confirming the user needs to exit.I added a form closing event but getting wrong results, the form closes if I click no and message window does not leave when I click yes to stay.

Now my problem is when i click the button, it still does nothing and letter 1 remains "." instead of "Q". also how would i end this string of else ifs? as in what if every text box is full then do what?

Dec 18, 2009I have a calculate button that, if clicked more than once adds the total of what I previously had to the new total as I am using a loop. I was thinking that I could get around this by only allowing the button to be clicked once, and if the user attempts to do this more than once a messagebox will appear saying that you can only calculate the price once and the form resets but i can't seem to get any code working.
