Access Database - Text Boxes Binded To Table From Dataset ?

I have text boxes binded to table from dataset. I make changes, i save changes.. then I open database with access, i can see changes...everything is ok... Then I open application again, changes are there, everything is ok. Then I close application and go to smoke.. when I come back and open application , the new data is gone. what's happening? This is how i save changes:

I have a dataset (WW1Dataset) with one data table(WW1).(database used in an access database) I'm trying to filter the dataset e.g a user wants to filter by a chosen surname (SurnameTextBox.text) so the datset is filtered to display only those records wherethe surname column in the dataset matches SurnameTextBox.text.

I'm in the middle of creating an application that will be used to input customer information whilst the customer is speaking to someone over the phone. This involves the customer giving the employee information such as name, address, postcode etc and the employee inputting that information into text boxes and combo boxes that are in the application.
What I would like to be able to do is after the customers information is given over the phone, I need to be able to send that information to a database which will probably most likely be done by button click. In this case, I'm using Microsoft Access. I'm also hoping that I can do this within Visual Basic coding.
The database is set out with multiple tables which include a customer table and a ticket table and both have multiple fields such as first name, surname in the customers table. Both of these tables are in use with the information that the customer gives over the phone.
I've already asked on other forums and people are where replying giving me third party programs that I could use to implement this, something I don't really want to do.

I have 2 databases that I am working with. One is a compant customer database and the other is my personal call log. Now I am creating a front end for the Call Log. I was updating my customer list by Importing 2 tables from the customer database, a series of queries would erase all of my info, take all the data from the imported tables and move it into mine then erase the imported tables.
Im trying to accomplish the same in my VB frontend. I can connect and fill datasets from the customer database. I can erase my tables. How do I take all of this data from the newly created dataset and move it over to my empty tables?

I have created in Visual Basic .net a new DataGridView in my form. I have used the wizard to show some fields of a table in my access database.I would like to add a refresh button and force the datagrid to load the data again from the database, but I'm not sure how to do that. I have a login form that consists of 2 text boxes: txtUser, txtPass. Now these are not bound to any data table & I don't what them to be bound. When a new user enters his user name & password, I want to add these on a data table that has two columns: User, Pass. Data table information: Data Source = Login.accdb, Data table = LoginTable, Connection = LoginCn. I use visual basic 2010. So how do I do this?

How can I update local dataset with mysql database without making duplicates. Assuming I set some column in mysql as primary key, which has unique string.
adapter.fill will just add duplicates, but adapter.clear before that is not an option.
So I want to update if the key column is the same with mysql data and if there is option for ignore adding new row.

I'm confused about DataSources and DataSets.I created a DataSource (DataSet?) via the DataSource wizard called PPIDataSet. This has tables in it Customer, Vendor, Orders, etc.Now I want to access the data in these tables via code. So I'm expecting to be able to do PPIDataSet.Customer.AddRow or something like that. However, when I access the PPIDataSet object, in IntelliSense,I only get PPIDataSet.CustomerDataTable PPIDataSet.CustomerRow
How do I access the table data via the DataSet? Or do I have to access it some other way?

In my VB.Net desktop application, I have several places where I am accessing a table, both for reading and for updating. For example:
Dim tempCount As Integer = Glbl.GlobalDataSet.Tables("Profiles").Rows.Count
The above does not work. However, the following does:
Dim tempCount As Integer = Glbl.GlobalDataSet.Tables(4).Rows.Count
I am pretty sure it was working in th past (I have recently switched to VS 2010 - could this have anything to do with it?) but it is not working now.
How can I make the first statement work, so can access tables by table name instead of by index?

I think this may be a usual issue but I am not able to find much info. There is a master customer database and a call log database at work. The call log database has two tables that are updated from the master database monthly. Now I am writing this vb frontend for the call log database and cannot figure out the update portion

Using getChanges method in vb.net only get the changes on the dataset not on the table in database?for example I fill a dataset from a table in database.So there is a table in my dataset. Using Visual Basic 2010 Express on Windows 7 whilst learning to program a database application using windows forms. I created a database (.mdf I think) with a tables e.g. patient details. Then created a form and dragged dataset and database adapter follwed by dragging database fields - this all worked perfectly well. I then created a table "tblSuburbs" with key suburbID, suburb, postcode fields. This also went well when creating a form to add, modify or delete suburbs. I modified my Patient table to include a link to the Suburb table - creating a relationship and saving both tables. Here comes my problem - Whilst the Database Explorer shows the "_SuburbID" field I added to my patient table, it does not show up in the DataSet even after I try and "refresh" every "refresh" button I can find. I need the DataSet to show the link field as I need the User to select which Suburb they in.

I have two Access database, say database One.mdb and Two.mdb. I want to use VB2005 to export tblCustomer from One.mdb to Two.mdb, and replace the existing tblCustomer in Two.mdb, during run time. I basically want to simulate the export function that is available in MS Access (which can export one table from one Access database to another) with VB2005 during run time. I can think of a way by querying the table to a dataset and then delete everything on the other database before filling the table in that database with the dataset

I use a dbDataAdapter to populate a DataTable from an unlinked oracle database.I have a dbDataAdapter that I want to insert rows into an SQL Server table using SQLCommandBuilder.I have been trying all day to update the DataTable that references the SQL Server table with the data from the Oracle DataTable so that I can insert the rows.

I've create a new VS 2008 Window Form Project using VB. I added an oleDbDataAdapter to the first and only form, set it to a table in my Access 2007 Database (there is only one table, PK field autonum of course and two Memo fields). The Database is in the Project's folder. A standard oleDb Connection object was created, as I expected, then I select the DataAdapter and choose 'Generate Dataset' which produces a standard DataSet called 'DataSet1.xsd'. Now when I build the project I get an error 'Error 1 Type 'FontTest.DataSet1' is not defined.' I do have a reference in my new Project to System.Data.So what the @#%$@ is going on? Why isn't the Dataset create by the DataAdapter being recongized? I can get into the DataSet Designer. The DataTable create is perfect, three columns defined correctly as I expected.

I'm trying to make a small database out of text boxes and text files, something where sql would be overkill, not to mention beyond my experience. I want to be able to write the contents of the text boxes to a file.txt (the easy part) then being able to retrieve them back out into individual text boxes. How would I pull this one off?
