Access Elements Inside A DataTemplate?

I've got 2 DataTemplates defined for a Listbox Control. 1 Template is for the UnSelected State and the other one is for the Selected State(showing more detail than the UnSelected State).[url]...
about how to access the Elements inside the DataTemplates from Code behind.
I get it right, but it only finds and returns an element of the UnSelected DataTemplate. But when i search for an element in the Selected DataTemplate i get a NullReferenceException.

I have a listbox that is bound to an observable collection of Audio (custom class).The Audio class has two properties, DisplayText (string) and a property called TarpIds (Observable Collection of Integer).I need to allow the user to change the TarpID in the combo box for each list item displayed and catch the selection change.I created a DataTemplate that styles the DisplayText property from the Audio object and adds a ComboBox to display the available TarpIDs for this audio (These are dynamic and unique to each Audio).The DisplayText works great, but I can not get the TarpIDs to display in the ComboBox.FYI I set the ItemSource at run time that binds the ListUploadAudio to the Observable Collection of Audio.[code]

I have a datatemplate for my listbox:

However the items in the list that the listbox is bound to are not all String types. Some are DateTime and a few are Integers. I would like to have a datetimepicker displayed instead of a textbox for the DateTime types. How can I make this happen.To clarify some points the list is populated at runtime using reflection so I don't know which fields are what types ahead of time.

I created a method and pass the element type, id, and any inner text that instantiates a new html element. The last statement: Me.Controls.Add(element) adds it to the end of the page, but I would like it to be inserted in a specific position (between 2 divs within a form). What I am describing is very similar to this post on SO here, although it was for javascript.

I am attempting to consume my Zenfolio RSS feed so that i can display the images in the feed. How can i access the url value of the media:thumbnail and media:content elements in my RSS feed? I have googled high and low and not found an answer regarding how to access the url value. There was a similiar unanswered SO post.

[code] the part way at the end where it uses .elements(mySearchInput).Value = "bob" I get a compile error it says object variable not set? my guess is this text box is inside a frame called "mainframe" so how would I access an element inside of a web frame? it works fine on another site without frames?

I'm building a tabbed text editor and I'm trying to access the richtextbox inside the tabpage.

right now thats how I'm accessing the control inside the tabpage and it seems to work but it seems like there should be a different or easier way to do this. Anybody know of a better way to access the child controls?

I have a DataList (Question) inside the ListView (Section). ListiView is to hold the sections. DataList holds the questions of a section. Let's say I have 3 sections, each section has 2 questions.

But it does not get anything back, question always gets nohting. I think it's because there are 3 DataList inside the ListView now, due to 3 sections, and it cannot find DataList dlQuestion anymore. I have a checkbox and a panel inside of a FormView control, and I need to access them from the code behind in order to use the checkbox to determine whether or not the panel is visible. This is the code that I originally used, but since I put the controls inside of the FormView, it no longer works.

There aren't any errors anymore, but nothing happens when I click the checkbox. I think there needs to be some kind of event to trigger it but I don't know how you can put an event handler inside of an event handler.

The book I am using is pretty good about explaining things and what I can't figure out I can find different examples on the web. I can't find out how to access windows control panels from my app. For example if I type firewall.cpl at the run line it will launch the windows firewall.

Inside my .aspx I have some JSON code that looks like this:

Basically what I'm doing is pulling text from two labels on one page, and sending them to another page by calling the "doIt" function which looks like this:

Just so I'm clear, the "doIt" function and the JSON call are on two separate web forms. My problem is that with the "doIt" function being Shared, I can't access any global variables of the class. And if I remove the Shared, my JSON doesn't execute.
