I am trying to create menu in my form in VB.net 2010 as radioCheck but I can not find it in the properties window to make it true. Is it different from previous versions?

But im having problems on how to know if the cursor is on the textbox or datagrid.For example, If I clicked the textbox, and i clicked f1, Customer List Form should appear. No problem with this. I used the following

View 2 RepliesI've search the net in order to create a custom control but nothing I find is worth looking at, The main thing I want to do is create a skinengin via DLL and import it in my vb 2010 then using or creating some sort of skin builder where I can create a full setting file which contains all the details of the customization regarding the Form(Look, Feel and the controls such as a menu), I have used Iriskin and multiple apps doing this for me and when a user installs my application they still recieve a message about buying the registered DLL file, I would like to create it completely from scratch.

I could do it by creating 4 buttons and have 4 panels. when button one is pressed make panel one visible and hide other 3 panels, etc This just seems messy. I recently installed WSP Builder on a machine with Visual Studio 2008 already installed.Quite expectedly, the WSP Builder sub-menu appeared (and still appears) under the Visual Studio 2008 Tools menu.Having then installed Visual Studio 2010 Professional and installed WSP Builder a second time, I can not seem to find the WSP Builder sub-menu anywhere under any of the Visual Studio 2010 menus.Can anyone throw some light on this "missing menu" problem?

With a Windows form that I would like to be a DDE server. I know that DDE is not natively supported in VS 2010/11 so I'm using the NDde.dll to add DDE functionality to this program.
Objective: Create a windows form to act as a Pop-up notification that has a textbox field. This textbox field must be selectable in order for users to copy a text string to the clipboard and paste into another program that does not support DDE.
Overview: A phone system has an on-screen agent program that triggers a pop-up form, the DDE Server, when an incomming call is presented. When the agent accepts the call the agent program, acting as a DDE Client, registers a DDE session, Application=phnserver and Topic=callerid. Then communicates an "OnExecute" command to the DDE Server followed by a number string. This string should be presented on the pop-up form in a text box. Once the call is completed the agent application will issue a command to close the pop-up form.

im supposed to create a program in the form type. its supposed to ask the user for a number so i created a textbox for the entry for the number in the form and a button to execute the program. then the program prints a number of "$$$$$" dollar signs as the entered number. furthermore, only upto 5 "$$$$$" sings should be in a row. oh and i have to use the for-loop for this. i used to be do this when i did qbasic but i have completely forgotten the codes and syntax, etc.

So I was wondering what would be the best way to go about it. I have read up on Winsock but i can't tell if it even exists for Vb 10 or if it is usable if none of our computers cant talk over the internet. If winsock is not a viable option then what would be an alternative.

2) How could i create a form which interacts with the program exactly the same as a msgbox, by that i mean a way to not interact with any other form but the msgboxform untill the msgbox form is hidden. I do not want to disable the other forms or hide them, because a msgbox does not do that, a msgbox just doesnt let u interact with anything untill its pressed "OK" button, and if u try to interact with something else a beep happens and the msgbox flashes, is such thing doable?
3)How could i hide a msgbox and inputbox programatically? imagine the user is afk and doesnt press OK, with a timer tick i want to automatically erase the msgbox out of the way. Is such thing possible? if i need a form, it really is a musthave for me to someway pause the code of the other form the same way a msgbox does.

View 2 RepliesI'm new in development in vb.net IDE, and I need your advises on how to create multi form in one screen like a project properties screen in VB2008 IDE, thus when you you go to Menu Project -> Project Properties... you can see that screen is divided into two panes the left one for options to choose and the right one for configuration and preferences.
I need to know how to achive this and how to create similar to that thus if you choose any button from left the form content changes at right (ok is this single form and all controls were set to invisible /visible or is it muliform programming.
I have another question : how can I change the Left pane with Treeview control and choose my option from there.

View 1 RepliesI've created a form with a PictureBox on it and would like to dynamically create another PictureBox on the form while the program runs (to the left of the static one). I've written this code:

When I run this code I can detect that the temp PictureBox does get created. However, it is not rendered onto the form. It seems like it's there but is invisible.
