I have a form that is currently being displayed in a split container with panel 1 holding a treeview and panel2 holding the form. my code for this is here. This is when selecting a item from the treeview.

When I view this in action however it cuts off about a quarter inch from the right of any form I use.
I am having a problem figuring out one thing with my program. It's about SplitContainer. To elaborate, I put a SplitContainer on a form. It divided my form into two parts, which I wanted. On the left side panel there are buttons, and when I click on a button I would want to display another form inside the other part of the SplitContainer which is Panel2.

Code (refer below): Function ResetSplitContainerPanel2 clears the Panel2 and loads the new form using the SetFormAttributesToLoadInPanel2
Issue: Although SettingSplitContainer.Panel2.Controls.Clear() clears the Panel2 but the form still maintains the form in the editable mode. If I call the same form again, I can see the values which I typed earlier

If the user double clicks the item selected in the list box a modal form is opened to edit the item.I want the previously opened reference form to remain active/enabled, that is, I want the user to be able to click on it, move it, etc.I was able to get the form to at least show up on the task bar by setting it's "ShowInTaskBar" property to true, however, when it comes to the front the user can still not move it to the side to view all of the Edit Forms information.
View 7 RepliesOn each of my form I have put an 'Exit' button. When user clicks it, another form is displayed (I don't want to use 'MessageBox') asking user whether he really wants to quit. If user clicks yes the form closes. If user clicks no, form is redisplayed.

I have a parent form, which can lanch a dialog box. A wrong selection in the box launches a message box with an error message. When the message box pops up, the dialog box disappears, so the messagebox is sitting on top of the parent form.Once the user clicks "OK" in the messagebox, the box disappears, and only the parent form remains.How do I make it so that the dialog box remains when the messagebox is displayed? And also, I want the dialog box to remain when the user closes the message box. The user should have the option to make the right selection in the dialogbox once the messagebox disappears.I tried to hunt for a property for the dialog box to achieve this, but couldn't find any.

I initially want this to be copied to the output directory so that it will be there when the programme is installed and i can then use the file path of the output directory to display the help file.
Can anyone advise how i would do this, and also if when the user installs the program, they decide to change the default output directory how i would i get my application to know where the helpfile will be?
I have designed a windows form(to act as a messagebox) with Label and OK, Cancel buttons. I'm on form1 and call this messagebox form in the closing event. If I debug the showdialog of the messagebox form the custom text is displayed on the Label, however if the application is minimized and when i right click on the application in taskbar and select close window then the messagebox form is poped up however the label doesn't show the custom text.

i have 2 forms , in the form1 i have some data excecuting ,before enters to the process am loading form2 which has a label that am sending the text i want to display ,and a picture box with gif animator picture.At the end of the process of form1 which has finished the exceting data then am closing waitingMessage box. Here is my main problem. am succesfully display the form but the gif animator is not spining ,and the text in the form and the gif animator is like a white box and no visualy displayed.I got some time on the internet to research it and most propably the problem is mostly seems to be the threads ,but i dont know how to correctly configure it,

I have some functions inthe class file. i want to use those functions from the webpage which is displayed in my windows app through webbrowser control..For example say... I have an standalone windows software. Which has a webbrowser control in the some form. Now i would like to create a webpage that can be displayed in the webbrowser control in win app which has some buttons and textboxes. When i click on button in the webpage it should get the version number of that software. I have some other functions that are in the class file aswell.. but dont no how to call those functions from that webpage when a button is clicked or something like that.

I'm creating a usercontrol with a splitcontainer. I can reposition the split when running, but when designing on a form I can't adjust the position graphically, I can only do it by typing a new SplitterDistance. Is there a way to get a grip on that position at design time?
