Forms :: Display WebPage With No Active Content?

I have created a windows form application which goes through Internet Explorer index.dat files and extracts various information (URL's , date they were last accessed etc). I then display this information in a data grid view. From here i would like to be able to click on a URL link and open the web page without activating any active content (such as java script, activex, viruses etc). I have tried to do this using Internet explorer in 'offline mode' with the problem being if the web page requires an online connection it automatically changes Internet Explorer from 'work offline' to online mode.

how can i use for example, 1 or 2 forms but still be able to display the same amount of content. Similar to a web browser using tabs, its all still inside of the same "form/window" but has different sections.

Was trying to make a little project which will login to a site. The problem i am facing is with the captcha code display..
Was searching around to get the captcha to the form directly but didn't found anything useful.
So my question is how to display only the area of the captcha on the form instead of the complete form.
Like suppose I want to display only the portion where the logo of Visual Basic .NET Forums - The Exclusive VB.NET Community is located instead of complete webpage.

I am trying to make a project, but I am beginning and the examples that I see in the forums are giving certain. desire to make a program where web opens definitive page. When opened, the shown content is copied and recorded in an archive. Desire not to copy code HTML, but yes, the text that is appearing in the screen.

I want my application to open a web page that has an iframe within it named "test_iframe". Now I want to obtain the text being displayed in test_iframe. How do I get this content (I dont need the HTML code, only text being displayed in that page). Also if the iframe is hidden, can I obtain the content in such a scenario also?

I'm having a weird problem with active directory and the display name attribute. I can create an AD account with no problems, the account shows up, I can log on as the account, everything appears to be working as intended. The problem is, our company requires that the display name be in the form of "Lastname, Firstname". Thats all fine and dandy when you create an AD account use the MMC snap-in, you type in the users name as "Lastname, Firstname" in the display name field and when the account is created, the display name shows as "Lastname, Firstname" as you would expect.
The problem I am having is this, whenever I create an AD account programmatically, I can't for the life of me get the display name to show up as "Lastname, Firstname". The displayname property is set as such, checking the AD account using the MMC snap-in shows the display name is set correctly, but when looking at the list of user accounts, the account is always displayed as the users username. The account name I am using is "Test User", see pic below.
if you try to rename the account, the field it tells you it is editing is called Full Name? I can't find a property in AD even called Full Name so I am completely confused, here is a picture of me trying to rename the programmatically created account, as you can see, the display name field is set correctly even though it doesn't display that way. And of course, after renaming the account as seen below, the display name shows up correctly as "Lastname, Firstname"Here is the code I use to create the account, just for reference.

I have a tab control with two tabs. Both tabs have controls which are unique to them, but there is one control which I would like to always appear on whichever tab is currently active. I figure I just need to add some code to TabControl1_SelectedIndexChanged(). I tried

I am developing a web site which is basically used to display the properties and attributes of Active Directory users. When i enter a username it should show that particular users full details including : Login Id, first name, lastname, DN, account lockout status, disabled or not,password expiry etc. That is working fine. What I am attempting to do is make a form for a tire shop. I want to put comboboxes on the left side of the form that the employees make choices from. I then want to put some kind of a table or grid looking thing on the right side of the form that will display their choices so that everyone in the shop can look at it see that "John is on bay 5 until 3:00pm". At the end of the day I want all of the combobox choices to save to a file..I dont really need the table or the grid thing to save..just the choices. If I want to do this, do I need to use that gridview tool? or can I make my own table thing to display the choices in.

I am having a issue when navigating to a URL that requires the user to log-in before proceeding. The system we are logging into takes care of going to the log-in page and then back to the page I specified. But when I navigate (webbrowser.navigate = ...) to the web page it locks up the form until the method is complete. But I want to wait in that method until after the user logs in and then the window is redirected, and I want to make sure they got there. I am going to need to do this multiple times during the program. Is there another method I should use? I would prefer to use the embedded web window in VB2005.
