I have textbox in my form .. I enter the student name in the text e.x (vbstudent)
I want to sign textbox data to array, each letter in one index.
ex
array(0)=a
array(1)=l
array(2)=f
array(3)=r
array(4)=e
array(5)=d
array(6)=o
How can I do that ..
I wanted to simply on click a button to add those newly created textboxes to an array of textboxes. Starting with those labeled "Address". But I am finding this very difficult. I am able to add those originally on the form into the array very easily. But am unable to add the newly created textboxes into the array.

Is it possible to have a Textbox on a form that when the user inputs data, ( during Runtime )that data remains in the Textbox for good and the Textbox then becomes read only ? Is it also possible to make it so that the CD with the programme on, is in the PC when the programme is being used. Perhaps writing the Textbox data back onto the CD ?

I have a small 10px by 10px image, and I want to use VB.NET to find out if that image is (an exact) part of a larger image.I thought a method of doing this would be to lock the bits of the larger image into memory and then loop through each pixel in the image and for each pixel, I could take the 10px by 10px section which is down and to the right of that pixel.. and then compare it to my smaller image.

View 2 RepliesI am working on an application which involves serial port communication with stepper motors. Now I am sending queries to the PLC via modbus protocol. There is one query in which I ask the PLC for the current position of the moving motor and display it in a current position textbox using a DO Loop. Here the problem is the textbox only displays the position at the end of the motor movement and not while the motor in movies though I have included the code to do so inside the DO loop. So pls anyone who has the solution for this or any other alternative to perform this type of dynamic data display updation then pls reply.

The user inputs data into textbox 1. he enters "X:Y:Z". He then hits the sole button and it organizes it so that textbox 2 now contains "X", textbox 3 now contains "Y", and textbox f now contains "Z". I'm completely lost on how to parse the data.

I have a textbox1 on form1 with a click evet that says textbox1.text= form2.txt(1).text but it gives an error (txt is not a member of form2). I tried disabling option explicit, option strick and option infer. Still won't work. My code is to long for this place maybe a short version osf the code. Do I need to make a Public MyArray(15,15,15,15) as string, in the Module1 then copy txt(n).text to the array or is there a way to access txt(n).
