I am using a masterpage. On a accounts page I have a Usercontrol on this UserControl I have one more user control. If Account is closed I want to Disable all the controls on Accounts page (including parent and child userControl - controls collection).

I have an asp.net website that is using update panels on the page that i cant get to reload from the server. I have this for the disable page cache on the master page.

When I click the browser back button to go back to the page it says the page has expired. the other pages on my web site work and call the page load, the only solution i found but cant use is to wrp the whole page in an update panel, but i cant do this becuase i have a report viewer on the page that does not work with ajax.

on one of my form, if user press a button then it sync data with another database and it takes time. i show a hidden group box on form which show progress bar of processing. during this process i want to disable all the controls of the form so that user not able to do anything form until process if finished.because most control on the form has validation and if i do me.enabled = false, it disable the control but still use can click on any of text box and then depending on validation event get fired.in a nutshell, want to disable any kind of activity on form.

View 3 RepliesThe problem is, the document is taking 2-3 seconds to process and print it. While it is printing this status box shows up and the default focus is on the cancel the button. The end-user(s) have a nagging habit of pressing enter twice, thus they end up canceling the print.

My asp.net page has multiple text-boxes and DropDownLists that all have required-field validators.
My site also has multiple pages that you can move between with the click of a button. (All pages have all the buttons) When a page loads and decide I want to go to a different page without entering information into the form, I click a button to move to a separate page and the validation pops up and I can't change the page, it stops me every time?
On my current project I want to deny going back once my customers hit submit button and redirected to the final page. How can I deny from going back to previous page or some mechanism to expire the page if the back button is clicked. I tried this code and it didn't work.

Every thing was working fine with Example A, only there's no option to remove the added contorls.When I added "Remove" control option with jQuery in Example B, HttpFileCollection can't get any file from input control added to the page.
I have an app with a tab control and multiple tabs. I am looking for a "reset all" function that will set an individual tab's contents back to their default state (typically null). I realize I can go through and set each to "", unchecked, etc but I was hoping there might be a single function that does this already (save a ton of coding time).

The problem that I am experiencing is the request to obtain the value entered by the user in the dynamically created control, I need to perform this call following postback/callback.
If I take the Content page and make it a standard aspx page with no master page the application works fine. Unfortunatley taking the page out of the master page is not an option (unfortunatley a restriction by my client)

I use the Webbrowser control to access an ESRI web based mapping solution. When the ESRI map is loaded into an IE browser and the browser is resized then the map control resizing accordingly. When my Webbrowser control is resized the map webpage is not resizing properly.
I don't even know where to start with this problem. Is there some event that's not firing in the website? I can't simply refresh the whole website because the user may have panned and zoomed around. I want to just tell the website that the container control (Webbrowser control) is resizing now.

I'm building out a decommissioning application that will allow an individual to provide an computer name and the utility will go out and purge the computer record from various locations. I'm running into a problem when attempting to delete a computer account from Active Directory. I'm impersonating a service account that only has rights to "Delete All Child Objects" within a particular OU structure. The code below works if I run it with my domain admin account; however fails with an "Access Denied" when I run it with the impersonated service account. I have verified that the permissions are correct within AD as I can launch Active Directory Users and Computers using a "runas" and providing the service account credentials and I can delete computer objects perfectly fine.
Wondering if anyone has run into this before or has a different way to code this while still utilizing my current OU permissions. My gut tells me the "DeleteTree" method is doing more then just deleting the object.
