IDE :: Grids Contain Only Four Columns Each - Get The User To Be Able To Click On A Cell And Populate Four String Variables?

I am using Visual Basic.Net 2003 with an Access 2000 database.
An integral part of the program that i'm working on is a DataGrid which I am filling from three different queries, based on the user's input. The Grid properties are coded with specific requirements for each of the queries. I have two simple (hopefully) problems.
1) There is no scroll bar on the grid and I can't find a property or event that will allow me to add the Vertical Scroll Bar. How do I do that.
2) The grids contain only four columns each. I want the user to be able to click on a cell and populate four string variables.
i have a data grid in my form.It has 3 colums.On clicking the second col I want to put a value of 1 in there.I tried using datagrid click event but nothing happens in fact the the program wont even go there.[code]
I have a question, I have a combo box, which when changed fills the data grid. Now Wen I change the Tab and come back to same tab again(one containing the combo box)..the value of combo box remains there, however the grid gets empty. I need this data to be maintained till the user selects another value from drop down.
I have set the datagridview.cellvalidating events. I want the user inputing in the cell and when error, the cursor cannot leave the cell when user key "TAB" or click in other where in the first time.But I find that it does not work in the first time. Until when I click the same cell in the second time, it trigger the action preventing user from leaving the cell and show the error message.

Last year (2010) I came across a FANTASTIC command that allowed me to take a string of variables with a common delimiter and break it all back out into separate variables (possibly an array) with one statement.

As long as the delimiter was a unique specifiable character, this one-statement command could break it out into elements. my memory and point me in the right direction.
I have a form where the user chooses a facility and then the list of patients for that facility are displayed in a data grid view. When I click to add a resident, the last name field on the data grid view is highlighted in blue below the last record that already exists.If I try to start typing without clicking in that cell, the facility changes - it looks like the control is still in the facility drop down box. How can I code it so that the user can just start typing in the data without having to physically click in the cell to start entering data?
on the form I use one combobox with Data Bound items, Data source, Display member & Value member. Besides this combobox I have textbox with multiline turned ON. My code should write values from specific table in Textbox when I sellect ID on the combobox. Actually this code works but not in a way I want Me.TextBox2.Text = ComboBox2.SelectedValue
I would like to populate texbox from other columns as well. For my app I need one texbox in which I can see five lines of data, Company name, Address line1 & Address line2 & Address line3 & Address line4 . It's important to get data from different columns and each column in a new line.
I am making a application that manages room availability in a building.I have seen a similar function in another application that I'm trying to duplicate. I want to have a control, which I assume is the DataGridView that shows the room numbers on the left hand side, and then on the right it shows a box in that room numbers row for every day that the room is occupied. If it is occupied for more than one day, the box is joined.What control are they using? How do I link one row cell across multiple columns?

I cannot seem to figure out how to create an array that will store all three columns with the variable intProductArray as the length of the array. I am writing a VBA code for testing different combination of 24 variables and recording a result which corresponds to each combination of 24 variables. so I have an equation with 24 variables and one result. In excel I have one column which contains the 24 variables and the column next to it contains a figure which shows the result. what I need to do is to write loops to change the 24 variables between 1,2, and 3 and then record the result of the equation for each combination of 24 variables. I have written the loops (24 loops) and can record the result for each combination, what I have to do at this stage is to record the combinations which relates to each result.
As there is only one result for each combination of 24 variables I was wondering whether I can tag each variable (in each cell) in a way that in the final sheet in the cell next to the result cell I can write for example 111123123111233311121232. This means that after each loop I am taking the values for each variable in 24 cells and put them all together in one cell in the final sheet. These variables are changing in each loop, the label should change as well after each loop so after the completion of the code I can find out which combination relates to which result. I have tried to define an array or matrix but I couldn't fix the problem. This is the input sheet (the code changes the values in the cells in A column after each operation)
I am a newbie programmer using VB.net and I need to create a form with a TextBox that will populate an excel table. I created the form already but I do not know how to transfer the value of the textbox to each cell in my spreadsheet. The table is only only column and 2000 rows.

What I'm trying to do is allow the user to click on the Row Header and capture the contents of the 4 cells in the row to 4 dfined variables. I know that I can capture each cell individually by using the CellContentClick event but this would require the user to click 4 times rather then just once.

I have a DataGridView that has been dragged over from the DataSource Tab. All works good.I need to have the background color of some of the cells changed based on other columns in that same row. Such as, have the background color of a cell Red if the Status column (not shown) relates to 90 days overdue. The next row may be different.

Im working with a DataGridView with an imported CSV file where the values are delimited with (,).. The grid works perfectly fine. Using Visual Basic,change the backcolor of the upper left header cell (.rows(-1).columns(-1)) of a DataGridView? I have a vb.net application that uses Flash movies (AxShockwaveFlashObjects.AxShockwaveFlash). I have buttons in the flash movie. When they first start using the application, they can single click on the buttons in the flash movie and button responds accordingly. But after a while (and I haven't been able to pin-point an exact thing that changes it or my issue would be solved), the user has to double-click on the button in the flash movie for them to work.
