How To Make Only One Windows Form Show At A Time
Feb 16, 2012i have a combobox that has 3 cases. case "0" opens a dialog saying, "Not a valid choice"but case "1" and case"2" open up there own separate forms. (FormMain and Form3)How do i make it so if Form3 is open FormMain Can not be opened, And a messagebox appear saying so. I do not just want the ".hide" function. I have a slide show that works but it doesn't meet my friends standard and I'm not sure how to go about this process.He asked me to meet these requirements: The Slide Show Project requirements of your project are:
1. The use of if statements.
2. The use of arrays.
3. The use of loops.
4. The use of graphics.
5. The use of key/mouse controls.
6. The use of images.
7. Allow user to set delay time for each photo.

When I view the designer for my form, DataEntryRole doesn't appear in the property box. I assume that it should appear if I were to create another form that inherited from this base form, but that's not what I want. I want this property to show up in my current form.

Creating A Program For Which Will Calculate The Time Taken For A User To Make A Number Keystrokes?
Feb 18, 2012I am creating a program for which will calculate the time taken for a user to make a number keystrokes. I want to start the timer running from the beginning of the first key stroke and end on the final keystroke. Each keystroke has been linked to a label which will change colour according to whether the key has been pressed. When the keystrokes have been finished I want to save this timespan in a field in a database. To test that the timer is running I have made a messagebox which will show the time taken however it is constantly showing zero and the label for the final keystroke is remaining in the keydown colour.

Jul 1, 2010I have a program that allows a user to select a program to run at a certain time for a specific amount of time all choosen by the user. Everything works with the exception of if my program has launched the other program, my program become non-responsive. Meaning I am not able to look at that window again. Not that one really needs too, because when time is up my program closes the program it opened, then closes itself. I just want to be able to see my program when the other program is running. how to do this and perhaps drop me some links, that would be wonderful. This is what I have coded, but like I stated there are no code errors.

On a certain event triggered by a windows service working under SYSTEM account it needs to show a (second) form under the user context.The IPC Remoting works fine so I think my issue is in the threading.When I use form2.Show() form2 appears but the form freezes.When I use form2.ShowDialog() the form appears but I cannot get the focus on it.
