for an example:
I want to get the text from this text document [URL]
And i want it to be displayed in a Textbox

Cannot Read Contents Of Text File On Website
Jul 18, 2010I'm trying to read the contents of a text file. Everyone says it's a piece of cake, but I still get error "404 Not Found" even though the site exists.
I'm using the following:
Dim myRequest As HttpWebRequest
Dim myResponse As HttpWebResponse
myRequest = HttpWebRequest.Create("[URL]") 'This does work
myRequest = HttpWebRequest.Create("[URL]") 'This does not
myRequest.Proxy = New WebProxy("http://proxy address", True)

When I hit the [URL] the myRequest.GetResponse command passes the contents of the site into myResponse. However, hitting the [URL] always returns 404 even though it exists.

Jul 13, 2010I used a web browser to read the text from a certain website, but I hated because its kind of slow, especially if the website has images. Is there anyway to get rid of those images ? I just want to get all the text for whatever website I visit. For example let's say I want to read all the text for this forum [URL], how can I do that, and by the way I don't any Html codes or anything like that, I just want straight texts.

I need to check the test result with the data from database, to find out which test result is failed. If there is a fail test result, I will show an alert to the operator and stop the checking process. Until the operator close the alert, then the checking process will continue from the last read point.

I have designed a form with a text box on it, and a command button underneath. The idea is to run this as a sort of stiky notes section.
I want the text box to read rich text into the textbox (C:\\stickynotes.rtf")
Then i have a command button underneath which i want to save the content of the rich text box to the rtf file (C:\\stickynotes.rtf). This is so that the user can edit and ammend information.

Basically I need to open a website and navigate through it (Automatically through the program obviously), enter a batch ID and enter a file path and name. For some reason when I get to the part where I need to enter the file name and path, it simply will not populate the text. I have attached a word document with screenshots and code. The only difference I can see, is that in the bank website's code the the input type for the file text is "FILE" rather than "TEXT" as it is for the batch id...
