Restricted Textbox Code (Specifically, Building A Class Library With Code)?
Jan 2, 2012I recently found this code (provided for third party use on another VB site), however,ll of my attempts to insert it into a class library have failed.I open a new class library and past the code in, and immediately get several errors pertaining to how certain objects can't be found. I find it it is crucial to use this code, unless someone can suggest to me another example of existing code that will do the same thing: make a restricted textbox who imputs can be restricted, that can handle pasting, shortcuts, text property setting, and script-entered text.

I got the part where the program can graph data from text file and put it into an array called "varia3". The part I could not get is allowing user to enter data into the textbox. When I run the program, the sec I try to enter a letter or number into the textbox the program ended.

Sep 28, 2011My objective is to, instead of entering in the data manually into the text boxes, I want to read in a textfile. The Calculate button will contain the code to read in the file and assign it to the appropriate textboxes. Save the separate file in the \bin\Debug folder.
The text file just needs to have 3 integers on 3 separate lines.The code I posted works without and errors, but.I am having some trouble integrating the Stream Reader.

I cannot figure out how to incorporate the number of days into the input box then get it to loop and count the number of times the User inputs in the number of days. Then I have to incorporate it into the equation to get the total distance D = MPH * Hours. What I have right now wil not count up the number of days and locks up after I input one number and will not add anything to the listbox. Because I also have to make sure that they cant add nonnumaric values and the number of hours per day cannot exceed 20. I have put things in and taken them out but it has been 2 days and I am lost now

C# - Calling .FindByType Makes VB6 Error Out - Function Or Interface Marked As Restricted

Basically, im just searchign for uPnP devices using the uPNPDeviceFinder classes .FindByType method, .FindByUDN works, but FindByType gives an error:VB6 gives a compile error when I attempt to call the method:

why i am getting it. I am referencing and using the upnp.dll file as found in yoru system32 directory - when i reference and use this in VS2010 (say, vb.net) it all works and no issues are found, but in VB6, i get the error above.
Adding Together Input From Input Box Data?
May 2, 2009I've been working on some code to add together input from an input box to make a string and display it in a message box. I've put the code in a loop so that it will add all input into the string until nothing is entered in the input box.

All I get is just the last input entered to show up in the message box and none of the previous entries. How do I get all the input to be added together and show up in the message box?

Jul 14, 2010I have two textbox controls and I want to accept input for textbox 1 and textbox 2. However, when user enters text into textbox 1 I would like textbox 2 to mirror the same text as it is typed.
I am sure this is a very simple procedure however it is new to me and I am having trouble finding an answer with search engines. Most result are coming back as text that one can read backwards in a mirror which is not what I am looking for.

I need to error check so that the fields are not empty.I have used If statements that check to see if the fields are empty and shows a message box if they are but if I leave the whole form empty and click the button that activates it, all the if statements go- one by one instead of pausing for the user to input the required data.How do I check for data and make the program stay there until the data is input? I have tried TRY/CATCH but it won't catch this type of error.
