So the exact site I'm trying to login to is GMail. I can send the POST data to login fine, but after that GMail performs an authentication (the redirect URL contains 'SetSID?'). Now with my HTTPWebRequest I don't see a way to enable support of HTTPs requests. Is there a way to get around this and successfully login?

The user navigates to a web page, hits a button, and then every minute the web browser automatically refreshes, gets the page length, and alerts if the page length has changed by more than 100 chars.Unfortunately, I am noticing that VB uses the cached version of the page when it refreshes (I am using WebBrowser.Refresh, but have also tried using WebBrowser.Navigate(same page as before)). Is there any way that I can delete just that page in the cache without clearing the whole thing from my application before it reloads and calculates the new page length?

Something i've also wondered about is if your able to link the regex to a in-software Webbrowser from the tool box, as i'm trying to pull information from a site that requires me to log in, before i can view the certain page. So i just wnat to be able to log in Webbrowser1 and then the regex can read from there.

The thing is that the image is bigger than the control, so I want it to automatically resize the image, as IE does when the same thing happens there, and it even shows a little magnifier glass to restore the image to full size.How can this be achieved? What happens at default is that the image is bigger than the control, so a quarter of it shows and I have to scroll to see the rest.

My project is about recipes. I want to automatically create table inside in mysql database when I hit the add button on my project through codes. First is when I input recipe name in the textbox1 then my input will be saved in the recipes table under recipe name column and also create a new table through codes on what i input in the textbox1

i have created a program to view images in a picturebox, i have created two list box's one for folder names/image areas to group certaint images and the second listbox to list the number of pages contained in the image folder/area. when the user creates a new image area, he or she can name it whatever they want, when they do that i would like to create a folder in the c drive for instance with the same name as the image area, and i would want it to create a .txt file aswell to keep memory of what they have done, so when they come back to it the next day they can just carry on from where they left off.

View 12 RepliesI'm creating an API for a particular website. This API will be in the form of a referable DLL. I've tried the normal HttpListner but it errors when getting any data that is through https (basically anything specific about the currently logged in user). I also can't log in using it. My next attempt involved a hidden webbrowser but that is just as hacked up as it sounds (and very glitchy seeing as the WebBrowser likes to interrupt processes that are currently running with its events). I need a system that works and is fast and efficient (I know, I know, kind of a oxymoron). Does anybody know how to do this?I'm using VB.net so any .net code examples are acceptable.
