Essentially, when the Calculate Salary click event is initiated after salary is entered, either $200 should show up in the list box or, if the persons sales were over $5,000, a calculation of their sales * 9% + 200 should show up in the list box. Right now, anytime I enter any number, "Double Array()" shows up in that list box.

Additionally, a bar graph is supposed to supposed to be displayed in the lower list box showing how many people are in certain categories starting from "$200-$299" through "over $999". These results should be shown when the Show Totals click event is initiated.
I'm new with VB programming and would like to know if anyone can look/test this code I have written. I don't have the ability to test right now because I'm at work and can't get VB installed on my desktop. My gross salary formula works fine but im confused about my For Next Statement. Not sure if im doing it right. i forgot one thing.... i'm not sure if my increment counter should be where i put it. I think it needs to be in my for next statement?

I had a weird series of errors involving e.Graphics.DrawString() when painting a panel.I am using a barcode font [Code 128] with a library that converts text to the proper format for Barcode readers.That's fine, however, when I draw it to the panel, that's where things stop being fine:But, here's where things get funky. When I put it into a TextBox instead of drawing it via Graphics.DrawString(), everything is peachy:In fact, the TextBox one looks much better than the Graphics.DrawString() one! Wondering if it is possible. It works on the idea that all files share common code. The program would ideally analyse the source file and compare it to the reference files. It would then find common parts of the code and write it to a rebuild file. At the end the rebuild file and the reference files would then be able to rebuild the source file without it being present.
when i put, for example, a picturebox in form and code some events. then i want delete that picturebox. well the code stills there. imagine that i use another picturebox i use the same name. now if i double click on these picturebox, the code editor recreates a new subs. can i disable these situation?
but if the checkbox is not checked then i want it to wait until it has copied the file before deleting it because at the moment it deletes it quicker than it copies it and the file could be different size everytime so i cant just put a simple timer of say for example 5 seconds in.

My problem is retrieving the current active form (or application), when my application is started up. Every search seems to return old and rather complex solutions using Win32 library functions, but I was kinda hoping, that .Net allowed for a neater and more simple solution.I need a code example or link on how to retrieve the currently active application window from another application just starting up.
I'm using VB 2008, and I have a dual core computer.Is it possible to make a code that sends one application or program in 1 core, and other application in the other core?
I am learning VB for the moment. I want to copy/paste code from a PDF to Visual Basic 2010 Exppress, but if i paste the (structured in PDF) code to VB, i get 1 long string of code and need to restructure it by entering after each line. Otherwise VB gives me a lot of errors. This is a time consuming work. Isn't there a way, VB puts the code in the right format?
I was wondering if it's possible to store application data within an application without storing the data in an external file. For example, in my application, the user can choose where he/she would like to store the files that the application creates. I need to make the application remember the location that the user specified. I've tried using My.Settings to save this information, but since my application is standalone, if the location of the application changes, the My.Settings information changes as well (unless I coded it incorrectly before). I would prefer not to store this data in a .txt file or something similar.
