What makes it difficult is that all the emails are different, unstructured, and the data is usually buried in the emails, i.e. a forwarded email.I want a way to get all the information and parse it into a ms sql database.I know there are products that would work really well like url... but at work we can't afford this.I was thinking of creating a webservice that would input mail data posted from a third party site like cloudmail.com into a secondary website and then maybe creating a ruby script that would crawl the messages and extract addresses, etc. Anyone know of a good, simple alternative, a custom script in ruby, php, vb.net or possibly an open source solution?

The issue is as my code hits PageLoadStage of "2" and runs the QueryDatabase() Function i am encountering an error of: "OleDB exception unhandled: No value given for one or more of the required parameters." I am wanting the program to send me the information entered (when they hit the send button) as an email and also drop the information entered into an access database.I have the program sending the textbox information as an email.What I am having trouble with is saving the three textboxes to access database. I have an access database set up with a table and three fields for the three textboxes.
All I need to do is each time a user uses the program, it adds the information they enter into the three textboxes to the three different fields in the database. I don't need to let the user view or edit the database in any way.

I have a directory full of .txt comma delimited files arranged as shown below. What I want to do is to import each of these into a SQL or SQLite database, appending each one below the last. (1 table)... I am open to C# or VB scripting and just not sure how to accomplish this. I want to only extract and import the data starting BELOW the 'Feat. Type,Feat. Name, etc' line.

I would like to have a unction that takes in the value from the datareader and returns the value if it is not NULL and blank space if it is NULL.The problem I have is that the data-type of the variable I am testing is variable. I'm stuck with .Net Framework 2.0, so no Linq or lambda expression goodies for me. Also I want to include the code in my custom library and not just reference it. Can anyone point me to some good library or code.
I just need to parse and not evaluate the expression and find what tokens are in use. After finding the tokens I need to change the expression string before parsing, like if the function ORGVAL is used then the parameter passed has has to be prefixed by an underscore. Like ORGVAL(BAS) will transform to ORGVAL(_BAS). Some functions can have tow parameters like ORGVAL(BAS, "2012/12/31") and this will transform to ORGVAL(_BAS, "2012/12/31")
NOTE: IF THERE ARE OTHER WAYS OF DOING IT PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I WOULD LOVE TO AVOID A PARSER AND LEXER.

I have a database with about 10 records - each with their own ID. I'm trying to add a new record, and to do this I decided to have a text box on my application form show what the next ID will be. Here's the code I am using:

I have connected access 2007 database with my project and when I register as a user, it stores information to the database successfully and I can log in with that id as well. But when I close that project and reopen it, the same exact id won't work and the information in the database disappears.
