The question is: Create a Project to compute your checking account balance.Form: Include radio buttons to indicate the type of transaction: deposit check or service charge. A text box will allow the user to enter the amount of the transaction. Display the new balance in a ReadOnly text box. Calculate the balance by adding deposits and subtracting service charges and checks. Include buttons of Calculate, Clear, Print, and Exit.This question has me stumped, I dont know where to really being, this is how I decided it should work in my head, let me know if theres an easier way.They choose one of the three radio buttons and to the left of that is a text box with a submit button under. They type in there deposits and hit submit after each one, and then do the same for service charges and checks. Once they are done they hit the calculate button, which displays it in a readonly text box.

I'm trying to change the password of an AD account in our domain. The program is supposed to locate the sAMAccountName property in AD through an LDAP connection, and then do two things. 1) unlock the user's account by setting the "LockOutTime" property to zero and 2) change the password to a pre-defined password in the code. I've got the program unlocking accounts, but I can't get it to change passwords.
I've tried the line "DirectoryEntry.Properties("userPassword").Value = "xxxxx". I've also tried the DirectoryEntry.Invoke("SetPassword", New Object() {"xxxxx"}) but neither of them work. The first one throws no exceptions but doesn't change the password, and the second one will give me the message "Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation".
I have a database I am creating with about 50 users over a network. There are about 6 groups of users and these users are spread across 10 branches. I want to block/allow users from particular forms and views. For example I want branch users forms to be filtered by their branch number but depending on the group they are in they can only see some forms. i.e. 50 users, 10 branches, each branch has about 5 ppl of where 1 is in group A and 4 are in group B. I want all users that belong to branch 1 to see the information they enter, but Group B enter data but cannot approved or delete, and group A can enter, approve and delete. So then. On my login form I have the user type his/her username but the i want LEAVE function to update 2 textbox where I have named GroupName and BranchNo. Basically to run a query and look for the username and return in one textbox that user's groupname and the other textbox the user's branch no. This information will be used to filter forms and block the user from certain controls. This is the code I have so far but still can't figure how to display the results.

I have this issue where for every 1% below a 95% threshold a charge of £67 is added. For instance if the percentage drops to 70% I would need a method of totalling the charge for every percent.

I am at a road block on how to print all of the items selected since last clear. A File menu should allow the user to print preview and print a document that contains the charges selected since the last clear including the total of all shipping charges selected When I click print preview I get the entire program screen, I need it to just show weight, zone and charges of everything I have selected.

In an application for a Storage company, I have a form with 107 buttons in five Group Boxes. Each Group Box represents a Building and each Button represents a Storage Unit. They are layered in Table Layout Panels, bottom TLP has 5 columns, one for each Group Box, each Group Box has a TLP with 2 columns and 10 rows, where each button is located. What I would like to do is change the color of any button based on the results of a query.

So i have a program that is supposed to display charges for snowboard fees with and without boots. The charges are 20 for without and 30 with, and i have already declared them as constants. I have inputs for how many boards the user has.
My question is how do i create a summary to indicate the total number of snowboards w/ and w/o boots, total charges and average per customer.
The company needs a system to calculate the charges for each load that they deliver. The loads consist of up to 10 different types of goods. Each item has an associated delivery charge. The system will allow the user to select up to 10 lines of goods and a quantity for each line of goods. It should then calculate the total delivery charge. It must add 20% VAT to this net total and show the gross total as well. The system should show a total number of items as well as the delivery charge. It must recalculate in real time (i.e. as soon as a quantity is entered or changed the totals should recalculate). There should be a facility to enter the delivery date and address as well. The delivery date cannot be entered as a date that has already passed.

View 1 RepliesI am working on a simple program called "Who's Connected?" where it runs a command (netstat -aon) and then displays the results in a multi-lined textbox. However, when I press the button that will run the command, it tells me that it can't convert the string to an integer or something. And when I did manage to get it to convert to an integer, it really showed an integer in the textbox instead of the connections and IP addresses. What do I do?
