Or
For j = 0 To DataGridView1.RowCount - 1
Private Sub Button11_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button11.Click

Then if Jody prints a 200mb file it automatically gets redirect to another printer without Jody having to select that printer.

I am developing a VB.NET app which returns data to a DataGrid. Everything works correctly now except for one thing. I want all of the blank white space below my datagrid to not appear, so that users don't have to worry about scrolling down the page. Currently, it shows the DataGrid correctly, with a scrollbar and this grid takes up about half the height of my monitor. But then there is alot of empty white space below this grid. How can I remove that?
Here is the end of my ASPX file:

View 1 RepliesI'm not sure about this code. What I wanted to do is to count the number of records in the table that I selected and then add a value of 1 to it to generate a transaction number.
I'm not sure on how to count the number of rows in the reader. So far, this is my code.
Dim intTransaction As Integer = 0
Try
con.Open()

I want to get the row count of my datagridview. I currently use this code below. But the RowCount value is &H7. I have 7 rows displayed in the datagridview. The code below seems to work, but I don't understand what &H7 means. Does it have something to do with Hexadecimals?
' tell user if no results are available to update
If dgv.RowCount < 1 Then
MsgBox("There are no results available to set Ready.", MsgBoxStyle.Information)
Return "Failed"

I have a problem with a datagridview control, when first loaded with existing data it shows the correct rowcount figure. However, I have a function that when invoked triggers an oledbcommand to clear those records from the database (access) and load new ones from a file (excel/text).The oledbcomands work fine, and the gridview refreshes with the new data fine. However, the rowcount after this refresh is always 0, even with records. What I am doing is creating a module for my app that allows the user to specify the column title and types for a file import - and the procedure will read the header row from a txt/csv or excel file automatically.[code]If I just make edits in the datagridview (as in not invoke the above) the rowcount returns properly. If I close and re-open the form the new data appears, and the rowcount property returns fine also, but I don't really want to have to tell the user to close and re-open it before making any changes.I must be missing something on the refresh or with the datatable or adapter side of things.

Is it possible to autosize a webbrowser control? I mean I want it to be just big enough to show whatever HTML content I load into it (without scrolling), and no talller.
Or, alternatively, how do I find the height of a given HTML document? Once I do that, setting the height of the Web Browser is easy.
I have been looking through the MSDN library at the maskedtextbox documentation. It says that the maskedtextbox has a autosize property which i cant see in the properties window in VS2010, and nor can i see it in the intellisense window that pops up when I try to write MaskedTextBox1.AutoSize. I really need to be able to change the size of the maskedtextbox.
View 3 RepliesI am having trouble with a custom label control I am working on. I want to add the autosize and the center alignment properties. In order to do that, I need to get the string length in twips, or points
View 3 RepliesIs there a way to autosize or multiline columns in a datagridview? I am dynamically setting datasources to this datagrid as required.
View 1 RepliesI have datagridview with some columns that the user can hide or show using a contextmenu. Below that I have some textboxes inside a tablelayoutpanel which the user can write into to filter the data in the datagridview.
But if the user hides a column in the datagridview, I want the textbox below to disappear as well and the other textboxes automatically take up the empty space.
I made some screenshots so you will be able to understand it better:
When the user hides the column:
The column named "Totaal prijs" has now gone and so has the corresponding textbox below. But the columns in the datagridview now stretch nicely to take up the free space. How can I do the same with the textboxes?
I have a datagrid where the first column is for image button for expand purpose. The visibility of the image depends on some conditions row by row. I am trying to handle this in ItemDataBound event, and using e.item.cell(0).findcontrol("imageButton").visible = false. The first cell of this row therefore disappears even that the size is specified in the ItemStyle tag.

View 1 RepliesI am using Visual Studio 2008 and VB.NET. I've got a listview control on my form and I've added columns using the windows forms designer. As you know, if you double-click on the sizer or divider or whatever you want to call it between two columns, the column on the left will autosize (unless you disable that). How can I catch this specific event? The ColumnWidthChanged event and the DoubleClick event are likely candidates, but in the ColumnWidthChanged event, there's no way I can see to determine if it was an autosize. Similarly, there's no simple way to catch what was clicked exactly with the DoubleClick event. how I can catch this specific event type?
View 1 RepliesI have a Parent form and a child form. I have set the child form as sizable, autosize to true, autosizemode to Grow and Shrink and windowsstate at max. The child properly maximizes on when loaded but does not resize with the parent. Here is the initial code to load the child...

Now all went well about from using the structure correctly. The working of the structure was perfect. How ever i missed Two important issues. The structure needed a fixed size of 10 items (9 in programming terms starting from 0) And also out of the 5 items allowed to be chosen as one of the member types for the structure a limit of 5 items of that particular type.

I have a label which appears full screen on a projector (VGA 2). In this label I will be sending strings. Some one liner's, some wrapped paragraphs. Some multi-line with carrage returns. My goal is to have the font dynamically change size to be as large as possible without overflowing the fixed label size.
View 10 RepliesWhats the font size real meaning? since when i use Arial font size 10 in the report its gonna take different space than the textbox im using (Both using exactly same font type/size/unit) its kinda if i set 10 milimiters to the font size why would the i and M for example have so diferent size.
i wish it was like in the Notepad where all the letters take the same space. what i need its to give a certain texbox(in the report) with auto grow to have always the same lines of height but its not posible to calculate it from vb b4 being inputed to the report.
How to make the form size automatic setting the size equals to the screen. or Maximize the whole form including the form components.
View 3 RepliesIm trying to resize a picturebox dynamically using .size.height and .size.width Its not working. This is the error message: "Expression is a value and therefore cannot be the target of an assignment." Never used height and width before. Been trying to find the answer, but it seems beyond me. Im sure its easy. Anyone know whats wrong with this?
