I am really stuck in FarPoint Spread. I have a FarPoint Spread in my WinForms. In the run time I am putting the values in the Spread to do some calculation. But I want to know how I can export / save the data that I have enter into the cells during the runtime. I mean I want something like export to excel or Save as filename.xls / .xlsx.

View 1 RepliesI have two tables < student > and <class> . In vb2008 i make the connection to the database, display the data in both tables, edit existing data. The problem is that when i try to insert new rows to both tables there is a problem when i try to save both tables at the same time. The save button is in the studentBindingNavigator. I connect to the db through the Add New Data Source. The message i get is Can not insert or change a record beause it requires a relevant record in table student. Does anyone know anything about it?The two tables are related to each other.

What I want to know is this: How do I make a simple name and address tracker file that I can enter data and save it as a file. The book does not cover this proceedure but It is what I want to do.
IE: Start VB2005 start new windows app. Name (whatever) drag 2 label's and 2 textbox's and one button for saving data entry. I want this program to enter name in textbox1 (press enter) then enter address in textbox2 (press enter) then save file (whatever name) when you click the button.

I work for a company where we send a number of standard emails to potential clients asking them to contribute to our magazine . if no response we then send a number of follow up emails. each and every time I send a new email to a new prospect I'm editing one of our template emails, putting their name and email address into outlook and manually sending emails. Then for every reminder I'm going back into outlook, clicking reply all and then c&p'ing our second or third reminder emails in each and every time. needless to say at least 2-3 hours of my day are spent editing and resending the same emails on outlook.

View 3 RepliesI need to write a program allowing the user to enter up to five passwords at one time. I have the textboxes set the way I need. When the user presses the button, the code should check every password they ve entered, and flag any passwords that are invalid. A valid password includes the following:
At least 6 and not more than 15 characters
At least one uppercase alpha character
At least one lowercase alpha character
At least one numeric character
I'm a little confused about how to check each character of the entered passwords for these conditions.Because it must include alpha characters, I believe I have to do something with ASC and CHAR variables. This is my first post and I need to have this done within a few hours, haha. Help would be awesome.
In the screenshot, you'll see three things- a start time, end time and total time. So the goal is this A user puts in a current start time by hitting F1 at the start of shift. They tab across the end time to the "time field", then go across the row. Then they enter their case number, then hit F1 again, and it will enter the current time in the start box on the next row, as well as putting that time in the end box in the row above.

I want to pass a noteID, user's name and a date of now into the cells so the user would only need to enter the note.
