File System Object Does Not Allow Spaces In File Names?

I am working on a VB Console Application that takes an Autocad drawing type DWG and converts it to a PDF using a shell command that calls a third party application. In this case, acmecadconverter.exe from [URL]. Then the PDF that is created needs a unique watermark, so I call a second application for that called pdftk.exe from [URL]
Everything works as intended, except when I try file names that contain spaces. The file system object does not tolerate spaces in the drawing file name. For instance, the following command gives me a system.io.filenotfoundexception...

I've got a setup where a ComboBox displays all files in a certain directory, but it shows each files path/directory, and it also shows the files format next to the file name (i.e. "filename.txt").
I am attempting to gather a group of file names from a directory. I am able to do this. I tested the code by having the list populate into a listbox and all desired items were added to the list.

How do I get the name of the last file of a set of files with similar set of names? I have sets of files with the similar names beginning with the same characters such as: D1A2-1.jpg, D1A2-2.jpg, D1A2-3.jpg, and D1A2-4.jpg. The set keeps changing (by adding new files of the same set up to it). I want to get the name of the current last file, for example in the set above it should be D1A2-4.jpg. I am experiencing a problem when trying to convert a rather large VB6 application into a .Net 2005 application. I've started a reader for map files for a small turn based game.However, when it attempts to create a tiles string array, but tiles(0,1) through to tiles(0,9) all precede the filename (3.jpg) with a space.

I have a notepad txt file that has two columns of data. Vb reads data having one blank space (this is in column one) but ignores any other data beyond two blank spaces. in addition to being able to read the second column, I want to store the data thats in the column 2 in a separate string.

I am developing an application that Monitors a specific folder for file changes such as modify deletion, update, etc. The only problem I have is , the application doesn't fire up File events.
A text file exists on my server machine which is constantly being updated (about once about 5 seconds). On my web page, I'd like a div to display this file live using jQuery inside MVC.
I have the jQuery timer working already, but the file isn't displaying. My plan was to get the jQuery to load a Controller Action every 5 seconds and have this action return a FilePathResult.

Once a user has selected a file with the open file dialog, how can I handle this action? For example, if the user has selected a .txt file and has opened it, how can it get the data from the file? How can it return the path that the user found the file in? Then, how can it save the file?I know that there is a OpenFileDialog.OpenFile() method, but I am also pretty sure this is not what I am looking for.
