Link Txtbox To View Variable In Different Form In VB?

I'm nearly finished making a blackjack game for my first year assignment in college using Visual Basic. The game is running ok, I'm happy with that but I am having one small issue! In the frmMain I have a counter set up so it counts and displays the number of games won and lost. From the drop down menu in the frmMain I have a Statistics option which opens another Form which I want to display the stats from the frmMain....How do I view the result on a different form?!?
I've tried the following code in the 2nd form...

I've also tried the following code in frmMain...

dealerCount is the variable set to count the statistics and stats is the name of the second form...
in my first form i have a datagrid havng access 2003 as db. on my second form i have textboxes.
now what i need to do is when i clicked a specific row of my datagrid the second form will pop out and display the data on its textboxes, there it can be edited.

this code display the employee id of the clicked datagrid row on my textbox on the same form. now i need to place my textbox to another form.
i am trying to make a search criteria based on last name.i have dragged and dropped customer dataset as details view on my form and booking as gridview(customer id is foreign key in bookings table so now when i scroll through customer i could see the relaive booking history in grid view.). now i have many customer so i have to scroll down to look for a particular customer.i want to create a textbox where i can enter customer's last name and it should change the data of details view from current customer to the customer which is searched and also should change the related data in gridview aswell which is customer booking data.really need help plz..provide code if u can..here is wat i have done but no luck.

Working on a personal project to help with my sons spelling.Textbox 1 will hold the correctly spelled word. Textbox 2 will be typed BUT I want the background of textbox2 to change green if he is on track but turn red when he messes up on a letter. Basically I need the two boxes to be validated each time he presses a key. I can do the box to box when complete but the trick I am having is how to I have them check as he is typing?
I have a bunch of text boxes that get created on form load depending on a value in a combo box. The text boxes get named in the fasion txtBx1, txtBx2, ect. Then I want to assign values to those text boxes with a button click. However when I try to write the txtBx1.text = "Blah" code under button click, I get 'txtBx1' is not declared. [code]...
Is there an way to supress the validating event of textbox when the forms close button(X) is pressed. In the textbox validating event , if the condition fails then i am displaying an messagebox. Now suppose if the textbox has the focus and user directly presses the forms X button , then the messagebox is displayed

I am trying to write the code needed to link two tables together. One table is a list box and the other table is a data grid view. What would the example of the code needed in order to link these tables together so that each time you click on an item in the list box, the data grid would then show the corresponding information that matches up with the selected item.
I have a grid view control on page where there is a Link Button Column. I have written a Onclick event for that.On click event of Link Button the gridview is beind updated. I added the gridview inside an updatePanel.Now the postback events are not working .
I have created an application which will open a text file on the click of a button, when i am running the application in local, I am able to get the popup asking to open or save the text file, I uploaded the same code to live site there it is not displaying the popup to open or save the text file. It just flashes a window for fraction of seconds and then closes, user is not able to perform any action in that course of time. Text document which I am trying to open is available at both server and local, and path is also correct in both cases.

figure out a way to link datagridviews to other controls like a combobox, list view or even another datagridviewBecause much of the code is managed by the IDE, I was expecting an IDE approach to linking controls. Is this the case or do I have to modify the generated code to do what I want.An example would be to use a combobox to limit the number of entries in a datagridview etc
i have datagridview populated with stock code, name and description.And i have docked my datagridview to the bottom. so whenever the form is resized, the bottom section will be occupied completely with the datagridview.But i want to display one extra empty column and multiple empty rows to completely fill in the datagridview.The extra empty column width will be adjusted to the right end side of datagridview.And the no of empty rows will be generated based on how many is required to fill up to the bottomSo that i can create datagridview with full column and row even though some columns or rows are empty.

I just want to display data in a DataGridView (from SQL - already made the connection) based on what is selected in a ComboBox (data that is also coming from SQL). The 2 are separete on the form. I am using VB 2010.

I have another question (and anticipate that I will have about two more before I'm done with my class project). Here is my issue (and I'll copy and paste my code for clarification). I need to link up the control from the form on either side of the current form that I'm working on so that if I click on the buttons that I'm titling previous and next that I can click on the proper button and either go directly to the previous form or the next form. I was successful in doing this for two earlier forms on this project (with some direction from a couple of helpful people on this forum before), but for some reason, no matter what I details I use the controls do not connect to the previous and next forms.

I have mdi application, on main form which is mdi container and has a tree view. i open the child form on afterselect even of treeview. the issue i'm facing that i open the form but focus remain on tree view until i click on the the form. my question is how i can give focus to form rather it stays on treeview. i tried frm.focus also activatemdichild(frm) no sucess.

This form has a datagrid called DgvPayHistory, which is loaded with all the payment history of all practices. It has also a field called prac_no and stores the unique prac_no. What I want to do is, when a user is in FrmPracDetails, lets say prac_no 1155, then you open the FrmPayHistory. Only the payment history of that respective prac_no should be seen. Presently, it brings all the practices and their payment history. I have added a textbox (TextBox1) in the FrmPayHistory which links and displays the prac_no from FrmPracDetails with the following code; [code]

i tried to link "LoginForm.vb" and "Form2.vb" using databindings at "TextboxName" and "TextboxPassword" properties window to database access file, "Student.mdb" but i dont know how to make it to link between "LoginForm.vb" and "Form2" in "Student.mdb" got "NameColumn" and "PasswordColumn"
I am doing a project which required the website application that I have created to be linking to the window form. As what I know is in the webform to webform, the command is "response.redirect("")" whereas for the window form to window form is "me.show form1.hide". So that is what I know.
