It's like I somehow created a dup of panel and lost it's original status and now the ide wants me to make a copy of the code. How do I get the ide to see the panel and it's contents as the original?
i have a panel docked at the top of my form with a button and a textbox. Also have a webbrowser docked below the panel filling the rest of the form.when i run the form and maximize it, the panel and webbrowser resizes correctly as they are docked but the button and textbox stays where it is, how would i make the button and textbox always stay center screen so if i maximize it will be center.

Just like the iPhone where you press down and move your finger up or down and the items on the page move.
I am tring to do the same type of affect with the mouse and a panel.
When a user clicks the left mouse button and moves the mouse up or down moving the panel up or down. but I want to be able to click anywhere on the screen.

In another sub within the MDI class i want to read the data from the textboxes, but got an error that says txtBox1 is not a member of 'WindowsApplication1.Form1'.This is true because they do not exist yet. How can i handle this? I think it has something to do with "delegate and invoke", but this seems to be hard to understand.
Is there any way of making controls that aren't textboxes into readonly controls? Specifically I have a date time picker (but I have the problem occasionally with other controls), that I want to make ReadOnly as opposed to disabled so that the user can see clearly what is in the control but cannot edit it. Making a control like this disabled makes it hard to read and furthermore, gives the impression to the user that they are to ignore the field, which defeats the object.
I'm sure a suggestion will also be to stick the information into a text box, however there are other date time picker controls that CAN be edited in the same window, and it would make life a lot easier if the layout of each was exactly the same.
Alright im trying to make my application look very nice with a slide out panel. The panel has all the settings for the application.How do i make it so when the mouse is not on it, it will side back, But it will leave a tiny pixel of panel still showing. Well I know how i can change the location of a picture box during runtime but that is only with a picturebox that is already defined in the form before runtime.
So I write an event for that particular Picturebox.
But now i want to do the same thing with a picturebox that a user can add during runtime and then the user should be able to select and move the picturebox.
So now i can't add code to the picturebox event so I wonder how you should do this. ( Maybe with reflection?)
And what if the user added 10 picture boxes and selects a certain picturebox. How do you make it possible that the picturebox the user clicks on is selected?
Should you store each picture box location on the Panel and then when the user clicks on a certain pixel in the panel where a certain picture box is it get's selected?
