I have a program that is running with a Data Connection to Database MS Access Office 2007. I maxed the Database at 1.97 GBytes of memory. I then inserted the Database into my VBasic Program and tried to compile. The compiler gave an error at the Me.ChemicalsTableAdapter.Fill(Me.Chemistry2aDataSet.Chemicals)

How would i get a certain text inside a textbox to equal that text space to space or null to space?

Is there a limit to the maximum amount a List(Of T) can hold? I need to know because I have a program that could potentially wind up in a really large loop that would add over 200 or so items to a list at one time.
MSDN search didn't really tell me much, but I'm in a rush at the moment, and was just wondering.

i am working on this exercise where i have to find suburbs with minimum and maximum percentage POS (public open space).i manage to get the minimum and maximum but i need a way to allow for two or more suburbs with same minimum or maximum..for example three subrubs ( suburb A, suburb B, and suburb C) all has same POS of 2%, then i need to list the three in the list box as minimum with subrub name(from my code i can get only one) with the maximum values as well( allow two or more suburbs with same maximum in a similar way)..below is the code.. i have removed some codes to make it read easy whi are not relevant.. i got POS percentage correct and i wanna start from there..

I am developing desktop search engine. For that i am maintaining indexed database with file name and their path. The indexed database is created at once by scanning all hard disk. This indexed database is further updated when user creates, deletes or renames file. The updation task is carried out by an windows service application and for searching files on hard disk I have created another windows aplication. The problem is that when windows service is updating database, windows application can not read database. It gives error 'Cannot open user default database. Login failed.Login failed for user 'WINXPSwapni'.

I am not really sure how to ask this question. I have been teaching myself vb for about 3 months. The book I am using is pretty good about explaining things and what I can't figure out I can find different examples on the web. I can't find out how to access windows control panels from my app. For example if I type firewall.cpl at the run line it will launch the windows firewall.

What I mean is Taking command prompt for example and opening it withing my MDI app. It only shows the file in my app and not on the taskbar. Can I do it or no?

I have a program where a lot of the required information for it is stored in text files. I simply read this information into large arrays. However, I don't think it's necessary to load all the information each time. Rather, it would be more efficient if I could simply search through a list of items to find the one I need and then use the data from it, or to find a similar name and use it elsewhere.
Would I be right in using a database? And is database programming done in SQL? I have a book on it telling me to use the SQL Server (IIRC), so I shouldn't be doing it in the VB.NET Express GUI?
Here's an example of what I would do:
Hex = 03 00 => dex number 003
Search in file Pokemon Dex Numbers
003 returns Bulbasaur
Check Bulbasaur base stats in the base stats file
etc
So basically I'm reusing a lot of information. I think a database would be best and it would all be internal right? I'm getting complaints about access denied to a text file (since it's stored in the program directory in the program files).
So to cap up the few questions I have:
-Databases are done in SQL and not inside the GUI?
-Databases would load internally?
-I could search a database without having to load it into like an array or something?

This program is very difficult for me, but I must get threw it or I cannot finish... What I am doing is making a Database of foreign Languages with the spelling of the words and the pronounciation inside the database... The USER enters a paragraph of words into the translator textbox and pushed translate. The program has a DATABANK of words with the phonetic spellings and matches the word, then translates to phonetics. The problem is that new words keep appearing inside the language. I have a VB.net application that has three project in it. Two of the project are DLL with references in the primary project. I have a public Model "RegSaveGet" in the primary project listed below. When I look for the namespace for the module from one of the DLL projects I can not see it. I want to use this module from the two DLL projects. I can only see it from the primary project.

For those of you that have been helping me for the last two days thank you first of all, my program is now at the stage where i need to have a windows application that the user can then select databases from, and then using these databases information will be put into a second application that will then run a program to compute some data and spit it into a .xml file.
Is there a prewritten piece of code for choosing databases? And then a set format for choosing cells in that data base to be exported into another windows application?

If someone can give me a sample code, i think i would be able to trace the line of code to be able to understand it.
