I have a question because in my I.O.File. I use this to save the data in the listview in a c: est.txt but the problem is that it only save one data and every time I click the save the previous data that I save is deleted and it change the new one that I save. And also when I click the remove in the listview it will also delete the data that save in the c: est.txt and the format should like this

I have built this utility to upload/download files to an FTP server with a few options which will be taken from a command line. One of the options is going to be rename file. But this would be done on the remote side.
Basically, only tmp files will not be caught has hazardous on this FTP site during upload. So the file gets uploaded as tmp and will need to be renamed to .zip and vise-versa.
I know how to do this locally as it is not hard to use the moveto function, but how would I do this assuming, the ftp stream is already opened and read/write access is properly granted?

View 1 RepliesA variety of files (pdf, images, etc.) are stored in a ntext field on a MS SQL Server. I am not sure what type is in this field, other than it shows question marks and undefined characters, I am assuming they are binary type.
The script is supposed to iterate through the rows and extract and save these files to a temp directory. "filename" and "contenttype" are given, and "data" is whatever is in the ntext field.
I have tried several solutions:
1) data.SaveToFile "/temp/"&filename, 2

I have no idea how to import this, or the Server for MapPath. (Cue: what a noob!)

This works, but the file should be saving to the server instead of popping up save-as dialog. I am not sure if there is a way to save the response to file.

View 14 RepliesIts a League Organizer, basicly ive started it off with 16 teams and end up with 1(winner) 16 box's on the far left, then 8, then 4, then 2, then 1. the 16 box's have "Team 1" "Team 2" etc... ive put a new/clear/open/save button in that order.
BUT this is my problem..when i save(Save Button) the text file saves all the text wrong it ends up like this...Team 1Team 2Team 3Team 4 Etc...
