How To Play Sound Files In Desired Order According To Text Inputed In Txtbox?

-A button (called "btnplayvoice")
-A textbox(multi-line enabled, called "txtinput")
-Some *.wav audio files in my "resources" (2 of them called "A.wav" and "B.wav", of course there are still some more sound files in my resources xD)Note: the button and the txtbox are in the same form.
i want to make a program with this feature:When I type "B A"(note between "B" and "A" has a space)into txtinput, then i click the btnplayvoice, it will look up and check the resources and see if the wav file exists there, if yes, it will play the related(same as inputed) sound files one by one in correct order. That mean in this case I should hear "B.wav -> A.wav" in this order.
VS 2010 Finding Built-In Classes?
Feb 24, 2011What are the best ways you guys recommend to search the MSDN Code Library. I know there have been several instances in searching for ways to do something, doing a long workaround, and finding out later that there was a built in class that handled the problem that I was working on much simpler.
So what are some of the ways you guys use to find tools, classes, etc. when coding. Or are you just that awesome already.This is kindve just a general tips and tricks question. Sorry if Im in the wrong forum mods.

Sorting - Appear In Descending Order?
Feb 15, 2010i have a windows form application with a textbox and 2 listboxes on it. The program is designed where i type in a filename in the textbox and the contents of the file appear in the listboxes. In the the first listbox the names of the students and their grades appear in the listbox. In the second listbox each of the students last name and their overall grade appear in the listbox. What i need now is a sorting algorithm that will sort the students to appear in descending order so the the student with the highest grade will appear first and the student with the lowest grade will appear last.

Ok this sort the list from A to Z alphabetical order but how do you sort in from Z to A, i.e. descending order. Summat to do with the comparer? I have no idea how to use the comparer. Or is there an easier way?

Apr 23, 2012I have a program which is made with 12 labels, the first set of six are randomly generated and the second set are values obtained from the first set and the user has to choose in ascending order the numbers on the first set.The values chosen will be trasferred to the second set and then with a "check" button that set of labels have to be rearranged and compared to the user input.If the user for example manage to choose the right order, he will obtained a 6 of 6 and he will recieve a message.My problem is on the rearrage and compare part.
The code I made is very simple but is not working, basically it only check if the next value is smaller that the previous and changed its back color according to the case.

There are about 30 CustomEdit (inheriting classes), all of them has methods "Load","Save" and "Delete". The require for this existing system is to add a readonly user. Possible solutions considering the cost of works:
1) Modify the BaseEdit so all CustomEdit can stay the same. The system will check 'user role' in session by using httpcontext then to accept or reject the user's action.

if i set the sorted property of listbox1 to true that code will add 0 before the inputted number so that the sorted property in listbox1 will be usefull in sorting integers.
for example i have 1,15,30,36
it will make 001,015,030,036
thats what i think am not sure because i cant edit the code so that it will work in my program.

Dec 18, 2010In 2007 I created a program that reads weather data into a listview. When a user clicks on the column header it fires off the column click event handler which calls the Sort Wrapper function. The Sort wrapper will re-order items either in ascending or descending order.
I have never been able to get negative integers to sort properly. I have created a stripped down listview program with a few numbers in the grid for testing. (see attached program zip file).When you run the program, click on the column header that says "Val" and you will see right away that the numbers do not sort correctly.

Sorting A Dataview Object Based On A Column Number?
May 10, 2011I have a dataview object that is being populated by database fields - so I can sort on these partulular columns by specifying the actual column names without any difficulty. However, I have been asked to add a few more columns to the dataview, and these columns will be calculated columns, not directly derived from an underlying database column.The users want to be able to sort on these new columns as well - even though there is no actual column name I can use to sort.
I have not been able to see where I can sort a dataview based on the actual column integer value used when the user clicks the appropriate heading to sort.
