I'll keep this short and simple... I asked this question before, but It wasn't answered completely. I'd like to get several images from a folder, and add them to an array.
At the top, I have: Dim dir = New IO.FileInfo("C:Users urcotdDesktopMyImageFolder") Dim images = dir.GetFiles("*.jpg", IO.SearchOption.AllDirectories)
I have this code which saves an "Image" to a SQL Server database:
vb.net
'You have the images in the PictureBoxes, now you need to store it as a Reference Image 'if the user has selected that option Dim ms2 As New MemoryStream()
[Code].....
I am working on a PHP site at the moment that is having trouble reading that data to display the image, so I am attempting to not only save it to the DB, but also save it as a bitmap or other file type to the actual server.
How can I create an image file (not really picky on which file type) from the "arrImage()" data above?
I am trying to make an Image wrapper class or something. The reason for this is that I need to output a bunch of images only, without pictureboxes. I don't want an imagelist, because I need the images along with their associated image properties which an imagelist cannot provide. I ended up with this :
I created a new cursor (it works properly, I tried it in windows 7) but is not working for me in the program.I took the Windows cursor (aero_helpsel_xl, from C:WindowsCursors) and it appears to me the same error.i use with this code:
Me.Cursor = New Cursor("Patch..")
The problem say:: "{"Image format is not valid. Image file may be corrupted.
Parameter name: stream "}"
edit: I realized what the problem ... It can read only cur files with 24-bit color and lower - but it shows only two colors: black and white.
I have an app that loads a jpg into a picyure box, then updates exif data in exifworks classThe problem is that when I save the image(from image used for picture box) or class (to save exif data) then try to delete, sometimes I get success, others it won't allow delet I have gone to the trouble of using gc.collect, do events, put the delete in a timer & wait for the delete before continuing & still get the problem
i want to know, which way program runs faster1- add image to button through its property -> assign image from project resource file2- on form load event, assign images to buttons, from project resource file
am trying to extract a preview image (jpg file) from a canon raw (cr2) photo file using the well known program exiftoolExtracting certain meta data works fine with this kind of code:
Private Sub GetExifData(ByRef id As ImageDataType) Dim ExifTool As New Process Dim ExifToolStartInfo As New ProcessStartInfo
I am trying to read a 16bit binary file (tif image) and pixel values of the image ranges from 1200 to 4500. I tried to use BinaryReader using ReadUInt16 but I get EndOfStreamException Unhandled error. ReadByte method works fine with an 8bit tif file. I do not know how to read a 16bit image file using binaryReader. Shouldn't I use ReadUInt16 since values of pixels range from 1200 to 4500?
I want to reading in a excel file and extract the sCodenumber sDescription ans the sStatus and store them in a array : StatusComposeArray(5200) As MyCompose. After this I need this array for comparing outside this class. But as can you see the array is defined inside the sub: ReadingIn_ExcelFilesCompose [Code]
The coding below is to retrieve the Raw Image Data from the Database and then write as a JPG image file. The problem is the image file (image.jpg) is "nothing" after file created. I guess there is something wrong in the following coding.
fs.Write(rawData, 0, fileSize)
No any runtime errors I can find, and I double check rawData (i.e. Buffer) contains data. But don't know why there is "nothing" inside the image (image.jpg).
Private Sub Button2_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button2.Click Dim fileSize As Integer Dim rawData() As Byte
I created button array as (4x4) and I showed these on panel and add handler after that I added 2 mines which button is 0. and 1. then i want to mix these buttons array, I try to mix but always the mines shown on button(0) and button(1)
since 2 week i'm stuck to do this thing. Actually i need to display image from oracle database into the picturebox. My oracle database got table name "STAFF_PHOTO" and the column of photo is "PICTURE". The image already converted into ByteArray. I'm already make a connection and success but the image stil cannot display. already refer to the tutorial but still stuck. I'm also try to use Memorystream but still can't.
I'm having a image inside the picture box which is loaded from the database as a byte array. And again i want to convert the image into byte array.I can find the solutions on converting the image, which is stored from hard disk or something like, to byte array.
Im having some problems with displaying a random image into a picturebox now i have to form on Form1 i have a button code..
Private Sub Button1_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button1.Click Dim intPic As Integer Dim rand As New Random Dim ImageList As New ArrayList
[Code]...
Its one of them yellow highlight errors as i cant see anything wrong with this code could someone
I have a Comma Separated value file in .txt format... simply put, its a bunch of data delimited by commas and text qualifier is separated with ""For example:
"So and so","1234","Blah Blah", "Foo","Bar","","","","" "foofoo","barbar","etc.."
Where ever there is a carriage return it signifies a new row and every comma separates a new column from another. My next step is to go into VB.net and create an array using these values and having the commas serve as the delimeter and somehow making the array into a table where the text files' format matches the array After that array has been created, I need to select only certain parts of that array and store the value into a variable for later use.... how to make the array and selecting the certain info out of it..
im trying to make an example program for a teacher friend of mine
Springfield Toledo Youngstown
[Code]....
thats just what i have so far but im really having trouble getting the other part into a 2d array. i want the second half to look like this when done: the oppsite of what it looks like in the file.
I have an array of filenames, and an array of files in a directory. I use a for loop in a for loop to check if those files are in that directory. Look at the below code to illustrate my problem. [code]
Now i have some images and i have a database (MS Access)i need to convert all images to !one byte array!(couse i have 1 column for images) and i save this array. Then when i need a picture i should take some pic on this byte array.umm i think i cant explain my status :)
i need to cut this byte array like split function. so then i can choose image whatever i want
I accomplished the task of creating a picture viewer that finds pictures in a directory, adds them to a listbox, and displays them in a picturebox at intervals using a timer. Now, I am trying to achieve a similar task using an array in a continuous timer-display fashion so that after the last image the process starts over from the first image again
Public Class Form1 im file(5) As System.IO.File Dim num As Integer
does anybody know how to put an image into a Byte array without specifying a format? I have a Listview with images downloaded from the internet and I want to save them all together to the hard drive as a single file, by using a structure. In order to do this I need to put the Imagelist images into a byte array. When the application starts I reload the images into the Imagelist again.
I am manipulating oval objects in a panel on a form, i.e. size, color, location, etc., using trackbars. After each change, I want to put all pixels in the panel into an array for sending to a slave display. Is there an easy, straightforward way to do this other than getpixel?
Suppose i have an image and i extract each pixel color and store it in a color array, is there any way by which i can save the color array along with the image? I was thinking about converting the color array to string and then integer and then append data to a text box, but then again i must store the text along with the image....and i dunno how to do that?
