Find All ContextMenuStrips Defined On A Windows Form (not Necessarily Attached At Runtime)

In my winforms project, some of the forms have a set of ContextMenuStrips defined on them (through the visual studio designer).Some of these contextmenustrips have been attached to controls, but others have not.Now my problem is this: I need to go through all of the ContextMenuStrips at runtime, whether they are attached or not.I've got some code that will recursively go through all controls and check the ContextMenuStrip property and this works fine.... However I can not get to the ContextMenuStrips that haven't been assigned to a control yet.

I am using a VB.net application connected with a .mdf database file.The application is running successfully, and when I try to insert records its accepted.Everytime I close and reopen the application, new records from previous run disappear. This happens inside the VS IDE when I'm testing it.

I have seen this happen before but am not sure how I resolved it in the past. On runtime the controls of my form change from the windows 7/vista format to an older version format as shown in the attached image.

I have develop a wiindows application and it's done in MS Visual Studio 2008 using the VB language and it connect to a 2005 sql database. now i want to deploy my application and want it to be directly attached to my database so that when someone installs it, it comes directly with the database attached to it.

I am working on vs2008+vb+sqlserver compact edition project which hav a attached .sdf database. Now i want to deploy my project to clients machine. I dont want to embbed sqlserver ce with my setup and also on clients machine. Now i m not getting idea, how to add sqlserver ce dll files with my application to deploy on client side and also i don't hav any experience of deployment. I m using a third party code security tool to prevent my codes and which also provides licencing facilities. So, How could i manage all these stuffs for successfull application deployment?

i use datagrid view in my project in Windows form. During run time there are 8 column, among these, in one column(PURPOSE) there is a value which is repeated 3-4 times depend on Query.now i want that i merge these 3-4 cell in PURPOSE column..so that the data which is repeated 3-4 times can only 1 time..

I have a form that i need to be 100% Dynamic. So it could contain 10 labels maybe 100 who knows.
When you hover over a label there will be a different contextmenustrip to appear for each and every label. So all the contextmenustrips are Dynamic and contain 1 option maybe 2 options even 3 or 4 up to the users settings.
My problem is not creating a handler for when the user clicks on the contextmenustrips options. The problem is knowing which one of the options for that contextmenu was clicked!!

Supposedly I have a datatable containing 2 columns (controlname as string, containing the name of the control and controltype as string containing the type of the control), for example ("label1", "Label") On runtime i want to loop over the datatable and create the controls from that datatable and add them to the form accordingly. but the problem that i don't know how to convert the control name to a control type, meaning that i want to convert label1 to a type of control Label, inorder for me to set its properties on runtime. so how can i do this and is there a way to convert the string to control according to it controltype.

I am writing a Windows form application where a client has the ability to add as many chart as needed in the form by clicking at an icon in the menu bar at run time. These charts will have the same format, and I will have them linked to a text box for the client to select which entity to chart.I have no clue where to start. I did a web search and I have found articles that show how to add user's control at design time (I don't think it is what I want).

On a recent project I stumbled across a page of code that looked unfamiliar, but which evidently was the code behind my form design. I'll copy and paste an excerpt to show you what I mean:

I thought this was a useful way to back up my project via email because it's in text form. But now I can't find the same information. I've looked in the Object Browser but couldn't find it anywhere. I think I stumbled on it the first time by right clicking Go to definition, but now that doesn't take me anywhere if I click on say form1. So where will I find this mysterious page that has all the form items information in text, not graphic form? Can't find it anywhere.

I'm really new to any form of VB programming and I am trying to create a form which will allow me to take information from an attached database holding information on:
class names (i.e. Year6 Dragons)
Students names (i.e. Sarah Jessica Parker)
I want the design to look very similar to the form used in MS Access for the query wizard, which will allow me to choose a class and then specific students.

I have set my datasource on my datagridview to be a subset of rows as follows:
dg.DataSource = myDataSet.testTable.Select("id=" & id)
But I get a runtime error that Operator '=' is not defined for types 'Object' and '1-dimensional array of DataRow' There should be an easy way to do this that doesn't involve creating new tables, etc.

I already know how to call insert, update, delete & select procedures in DataSet.xsd window. And I also know how to call queries by table adapters. But I just found out that its not possible to call all functions by queries (such as insert). It works when I test the query but when I try to add it, it says "Failed to get schema for this query". So I built a few stored procedures which do many functions (such as transaction, insert, update etc...). But I am unable to use these stored procedures in VB form. I found some tutorials mentioning that it can be done by defining connections and some other stuffs with which I don't want this to be. I want to call these procedures by writing code in VB code editor window with DataSets, TableAdapters, BindingSource etc...

My application periodically starts console programs with process.start. I need to monitor the output of the programs in "realtime".
For example, the program writes the following text to the console: Processing...............
Every second or so a new dot appears to let the user know the program is still processing. However,... until the programm outputs a CR/LF, I am not able to retrieve the standard output of the program (while it is still running).
What can I do to get the output in realtime for - let's say - piping it into a database for instance in VB.NET?

I have an application that continously records audio for several hours. I want to be able to listen to recorded material but not necessarily in real time. I have tried to just copy the file being recorded to a new file with overwrite and the copy obviously gets done (filesize changes) but when I try to listen to the copied file my player just 'blinks' and nothing more happens. If I however close the recording, the copy also gets playable. My idea is that copying a file in use just creates another file in use. If this is the case how can I close the copied file?

When I attempt to run a program I just finished coding I get the following message: "Error 1 Handles clause requires a WithEvents variable defined in the containing type or one of its base types." Looked it up online and still does not make sense to me. If I need to paste code or anything else let me know and I will do so ASAP.

I have just realised that ComboBoxes don't have a Change event. I have a combobox filled with a few items, eg. Bakery, Deli, Fruit & Veg, etc. Choose one of these items, all the related items show in the dgv. However, when I blank the text in the Combobox (press Delete key whilst Combobox has the focus), what event fires so I can blank the dgv? The combobox does not contain a Blank item. Even if it does, the Blank item only fires the ComboBox1_SelectedIndexChanged when the user scrolls down to, or clicks on, the blank value.
I want to clear the dgv when the user blanks the combobox without necessarily changing the selection index.
