VS 2008 Display A Text From Database Table In Richtextbox?

I am trying to display in my richtextbox1 a text from a table in my database according to some conditions that I decide by filtering. I worte a code for this but I think I am making a mistake because it gives errors all the time with Richtextbox (it does not accept datasource). Could you please help me on this?

I have this richtextbox and displayed various text from .xml database. I need to format the text. For example when ever my vb code find string like 'the' in an .xml line it should display in italic as well as in blue color and so on for some other specific text.
I need to display my text which were read from .xml database as color, italic, bold, etc. in richtextbox, how do i make a code to do that,The reading and displaying is fine, but when certain word like again is read it should display in italic, and whenever a word like over is read it should be display in bold or underline etc.I use vb.net 2003 and .xml for the database.
So I have this project where I have to convert a web browser control to a RTB and the xml/html to rtf database scripts, no real issue there until I did my proof of concept which showed the loss of formatting.
Searching all over for a good html to rtf converter showed little promise and most do a worse job then copy/paste.
Anyone have any links or code for converting a table's cell background to rtf?
Does someone can help me out to a RichTextBox recording a name, surname, telephone number and address in the Access Database Table, where the name is repeated every 5-th line in the RichTextBox, the same name each of the 5-line phone every 5-th line, address each of the 5-line. my code is.

I am using the tutorial posted here for my database testing. I have gotten it to display the data using a messagebox but it just goes through them 1 by one. I want it to display all the data from the database in a table on my form.

i am having trouble in sending text, when i send the text in textbox2 it sends into a normal way where as i selected my font as bold and size=10, i want the font which i have selected in richtextbox should display according to it if no font is selected then it can display in regular way.
I have wrote a SQL statement to insert the RichTextBox(RTB)'s text into the Access DB but got error saying syntac error. I cannot figure out what went wrong.
When inserting data for RichTextBox, i use the TEXT property- rtb.Text . usign rtb.RTF also got error. The data type in Access is :Memo ( to store larger size text ).

When i remove the rtb1.TExt and just insert data for the 'compName', no error found on syntax.
Any method that can effectively get the total number of rows that is StartRows to EndRows in a database table and then get the corresponding data from that row as currently I am having difficulty in retrieving out the correct row of data to the column that I am comparing. It will always get the first row of data regardless of which row I put in the handphone number which I'm comparing to. The codes below is the one which I am currently using now to detect the maxrows in the database and also to retrieve the corresponding information.

I used a msgbox(n) to see the number of rows in the database but it displays only one where I have two rows in my database. The for loop is the one which will detect the number of maxrows and also retrieve out the corresponding details. But apparently this is not the appropriate way.

so the problem is when i change the combobox3 index the datagridview dosnt change unless i reselect from the combobox2 so what can i do to make the datagridview display the Sql1 when i change the combobox3 index without the need to keep changeing the combobox2 index
I have a richtextbox control. It contains many lines of text (multiline is enabled). My goal is: When user clicks with right-click mouse, I'd like to display all the text of the line where the cursor is. I'm using this method to get the cursor's line: Dim line As Integer = RichTextBox1.GetLineFromCharIndex(RichTextBox1.SelectionStart) But how do I get the text of the line? Should I copy the whole text to a string array , and then just print the relevant line item?
