Writing Textbox Inputs To .pdf Form?

working with Adobe .pdf files. I have an Adobe .pdf template that allows the user to enter text into different parts of the .pdf template (such as name, address, etc.) I have been developing a VB.Net program that is made up of a set of user forms. I would like to be able to have data that the user enters into textboxes on the VB.Net user forms write to specific areas of the Adobe .pdf template on the click of a command button. I have searched MSDN and Google but I have been unable to find any information on this particular task. If it is can you recommend a MSDN type article or any articles/books/message board posts that provide guidance on how to proceed with something like this.

Is it possible to have a Textbox on a form that when the user inputs data, ( during Runtime )that data remains in the Textbox for good and the Textbox then becomes read only ? Is it also possible to make it so that the CD with the programme on, is in the PC when the programme is being used. Perhaps writing the Textbox data back onto the CD ?

I have three different textboxes on my form. What I am trying to do is send the inputs the user puts into the text boxes in an email. I have the email working but all the text is run together. I would like to have the inputs from the different textboxes to be on separate lines.

I am a former IT student and have not used VB in a little while but feel it can come in handy to help me complete some tasks at work.I am trying to write a small program which will open a url + a number for each number entered into the textbox. As an example lets say the website is "www.google.com/id=" and I enter into a textbox 3 values such as "134,325,2112", www.google.com/id=134, www.google.com/id=325 and www.google.com/id=2112 would all open at once.
The purpose of this is at work, we have an employee database and would like to load multiple employees at once (upto 6 at a time) to compare profiles. The issue with doing this manually is we have to fill out the search criteria for each, instead, I would like to load a link with parameters in it already filled out + the employee number we are searching for each number entered into a textbox on a VB form.

I'm trying to create a User form that has six inputs.
1.) User input textbox 5.00 to 60.0 inches only accepted.
2.) User input textbox 2.50 to 30.0 inches only accepted.
3.) User input textbox 6, 8, & 10 nominal input only accepted.
4.) User input textbox 60% or 65% only accepted.
5.) User input textbox 2.50 to 30.0 inches only.
6.) User input textbox where 500 shows up in the box as "standard" but can be changed by user input.
Then an "OK & Cancel" button. I don't know whether to use a dialog box or a form, what class, masked text box vs. not masked, etc.

i have created a simple form which takes some input from the user. Now, I want that the input should be saved to my harddisk and can be seen later as well. Can you please tell me how to save the inputs as a record on my harddisk.
I mean the first time the form appears, it has four options. All the four options will be a record. The next time the form is re-loaded, then the same four fields will have data for someother client. It should be saved as another user.

I am building a program where all the inputs (10) required from the user are asked on one form. Since it is not possible to let fields blank on the database, I would like to know how can I build an 'IF' saying that if all fields are full, then the database CAN save all the input. So that if there are any field blank, it won't save. I just dont know how to do the database condition. Thats all.

just another little problem here! Trying to write a quiz for a college portfolio and having trouble with writing to a .txt textfile. On one form(form4.vb), I have a listbox that picks up the information held within a notepad textfile called "usernames" which contains names of quiz users. When written in manually to this textfile, my listbox picks it up fine, however, on a different form(form3.vb), I have a textbox where a user inputs their name, this is supposed to go to the "usernames.txt" textfile to be picked up by the listbox on the other form but instead, it does not write anything at all and if there is already text on this textfile, it wipes it all out.I also have to use the application.startup path instead of the usual C:my documentents etc so i would have to begin with something like this: (Note: code is a little mixed up due to messing around with different variations but this is just a example)

I am trying to make a program in Visual Basic 2008 Express edition which have a textbox where the user can write information to search for in a simple database stored in the program-code.
What I would like is that when the user types a word, a string variable connected to that textbox.text will be treated as a string. BUT if the user types a number in the textbox, the textbox.text will be treated as an integer (for example a "Double")

My problem is that the code will make my new text file but will not write any of the lines from the other text file to it and just leaves it blank. I have a database I am creating with about 50 users over a network. There are about 6 groups of users and these users are spread across 10 branches. I want to block/allow users from particular forms and views. For example I want branch users forms to be filtered by their branch number but depending on the group they are in they can only see some forms. i.e. 50 users, 10 branches, each branch has about 5 ppl of where 1 is in group A and 4 are in group B. I want all users that belong to branch 1 to see the information they enter, but Group B enter data but cannot approved or delete, and group A can enter, approve and delete. So then. On my login form I have the user type his/her username but the i want LEAVE function to update 2 textbox where I have named GroupName and BranchNo. Basically to run a query and look for the username and return in one textbox that user's groupname and the other textbox the user's branch no. This information will be used to filter forms and block the user from certain controls. This is the code I have so far but still can't figure how to display the results.
