I have added a button in datarepeater. If clicked once, it executes code and Button.text should change to Yes. Clicked again, it executes the opposite code and button.text should change to No. Codes are being executed (I am using flag variable) but Button.text is not changing.
How to change this text. I am simply trying Button.text="Yes" but probably I need to give some reference of the row no. too. How to do it?

I have a program that displays all of prisoners details.I use a form to add all of the details and then on another form it shows them, i have a search so that when you type the prisoner number in it will find that specific prisoner.When i add a prisoner a count in a textbox moves up 1 to show how many prisoners in the system.When i have added all of the prisoners i need to be able to go through them using a next and previous button.Can someone help me with the coding for these two buttons?

I have an explorer-like interface which in many ways mimiques the behaviour of a standard explorer window. What I need is to find some way of knowing if something had changed in the filesystem since the last time I checked.What I mean, for example if a user creates a directory or renames a file - I need a way to know that. Right now I re-read the contents of the displayed folder once per second and I added a manual 'Refresh' button, but I wonder if there is a better solution.I tried to use FileSystemWatcher component for that but either I couldn't figure out how it works or it doesn't have such functionality.

View 3 RepliesI do not have any code to show, but using asp.net, vb.net, and SQL with stored procedures.If on a page I have an item that is added to the database and therefore that information is "saved", is there a way to have an ("exit without saving") button on the page that does away with those changes?Using infragisitcs ultrawebgrid, you add an item to one table. You can add an item to another table on that page. i assume adding these items to the table automatically saves in the database. There is also a text box but without clicking save I do not believe that those items are actually added to the database. Update panel is used, I don't know if that matters.
If after someone adds to the table but then decides.. oh wait.. I don't want to do this just yet, is there a "one-click" way to act as if I never visited that page to add info? I'm assuming it would be deleting the entries but this would have to be limited to deleting ONLY those items added while making... we don't want people adding info, then going back and deleting once the "save" button has been pushed.

Now, the problem is that when I click on Button1 on Form3 it shows Form2 but the Form2 BackColor is not red, it is default color, A.K.A Control Color. But I specified in Button1 on Form1 that Form2.BackColor is Red. And also if I click on Button1 on Form2 when Form3 shows it, the Form3 BackColor is also default, it is not red.
I know one way to solve it but it is so not-professional. It is that you add on Button1 on Form2 this:
Form3.BackColor = Color.Red
and on Button1 on Form3 this:
Form2.BackColor = Color.Red
It is ok in this situation but what if I have more stuff, for example if I have an option for changing theme so it has to change all labels and buttons ForeColor, what then, is there any other way?
I've got a groupbox on my form. I changed its font and fore color. The problem is that when I add a button or any other controls like a label, checkbox etc to the groupbox, the controls are automatically changing their fore color and font to that of the groupbox. How to prevent this?

i have multiple forms in a project and all have statusbar. there is no way to add textbox on status bar but in my previous thread i got the help to add the text box. i created a function in module so that i call that function from all the forms on load and add the textbox on status bar and also add the event on textchange. the function to be called on event change is in individual form (at present)[code]

View 1 RepliesMy database is an Access file. In my Data Sources Window, I selected the Attachment column for my file as a picturebox. I dragged it onto the DataRepeater, along with a Label. The label's properties are working correctly, but the image does not show. Is this not the correct way to have an image on the DataRepeater control? There is no code for this since it was just a drag-n-drop.

I am able to set it up for a single dataset but I actually want to nest another DataRepeater inside of it. Anyone have experience with that? Is is possible?
