Basketball Game Monitor - Update The Database With The Info Put In The Datagrid View

I have this program im making it is supposed to be a basketball game monitor. The user enters two teams and the 12 players on each team then it has you pick the 5 active players and takes you to the run form where you can start the game once started you can add things like fouls and baskets made and attempted if a player gets 5 fouls or you hit stop clock you change which players are active and its supposed to update the database through the dataset and dataadapter but it doesnt seem to update the database with the info put in the datagrid view.
Here is the code of the run form i will also attach source in zip file if needed to point out mess ups
Update: When you hit resume game after change of players is when it puts zero on everyone again.

I'm building an application that has an access database for storing codes for voters.my problem is that after i update my database with the usual vb codes, i'll have to exit the application before the datagrid view can read the update. is there a way for me to see the changes i've made with the datagrid view without my exiting the application. I'm using vb 2010 express.

What I am trying to do basically is open an access query in a datagrid view and then be able to make changes to the datagrid and then save it back to the database.When I try to save:
Me.BindingSource.EndEdit()
Me.TableAdapter.Update(DataSet)
It says that update is not a member of the tableadapter... Why is that?

Am using grids in VB.net to display database records stored in Microsoft Access, the tables allow editing and deleting using the grid fields. Is there a way I can monitor whenever a user deletes or edits a record? I want to be able to view details of every update or deletion to certain records, such as the date and users who did it.

I have a datagrid that is populated using a stored procedure. One of the columns is called LotNum which I would like to have as the combo box....this combo box should be populated by a table called CurrentLotNumbers, with the field LotNumber. My current coding is below. I am using windows forms and vs 2005. What do I need to add so the user can use this combo box, and do I need to add anything extra to my save button which saves the changes to the datagrid.

I am new to VB.net and attempting to write a small program as a learning exercise. I am writing a simple clock in/clock out time type of program where on Form 1 a button is clicked to clock in, then a button is pressed to clock out. When the clock in button is pressed the date and time captured and shown in a label 1. The clock out button places the date and time in a label 2. Label 3 shows the elapsed time between clocking in and out. I also have a label 4 which keeps on adding elapsed times (user may clock in and out several times) to show total time worked. All of this works fine.
I have made a dataset and datagrid on Form 2 to store all of the clock ins and clock outs. I have a history button on form 1 which takes the user to form 2 where the history can be viewed in the datagrid. I cannot figure out how to send data to the data grid from form 1. I thought the simplest way would be to place the value of label 1 in the first column of the datagrid, the value of label 2 in the 2nd column and the value of label 3 in the third column. Then when the process is repeated the values will be entered into row 2 of the datagrid and so on.

I am having a problem getting updates and deletions to go back to my SQL database.Adding a new record is fine.But if I try to delete or change a record and then use a button to update I get this error:Dynamic SQL generation for the UpdateCommand is not supported against a SelectCommand that does not return any key column information.I have tried to use the update command that is part of the SQL command builder but it gives me an error as well.[code]

how to retrieve image from access database?.. I've just finish retrieving data to the datagrid view. I want to retrieve also the image (also stored in the database as path inside the table where the data stored) in the picturebox. I'm at the moment busy with a project for school. Well I have a datagridview that displays all of the employees within the company. But I want to be able to change, delete or add new employees in the datagridview and then save it in the actual database. I used this code to do that.

But when I run my program and click on the save button I get this error message:
Application Exception was unhandled
TableAdapterManager contains no connection information. Set each TableAdapterManager TableAdapter property to a valid TableAdapter instance.How can I get around this? I think it has to do that my dataset exists out of 1 table but actually it contains items from 2 tables. Would this be the problem?I need to have the dataset like that though otherwise other parts of the program won't work.

On programming assignment without having any real experience in vb. I guess I don't understand subroutines that well. I've got a dual monitor setup, my main monitor is a Dell 20" 1680x1050 res, secondary is a Dell 17" 1280x1024.I've just updated my gfx driver (nvidia driver version 190.62).I'm using code like that shown below to get the screens and I always assumed that AllScreens(0) would be the primary screen and AllScreens(1) would be the secondary but this appears to be reversed since I updated my driver.

Is my coding in error or is Windows reporting the screen information wrongly ? How can I be sure to set AllScreen(0) as the users primary screen and AllScreens(1) as their secondary ?

For a class project I am thinking of doing a Spelling Bee game. I would like to have a button that will place the word in a sentence, and a button that will give the definition. Are there .txt dictionaries out there with this information? I've checked a few places like WordNet but I didn't see a dictionary that also includes sentence info. My other concern is using custom classes. I don't have a lot of experience creating classes, and I really want to become more familiar with them, so it is important that I integrate them into this project. What would be a logical way using classes in this project? Maybe a 'word' class?

On checking the checkbox I need to update the total selling for column with the value in the price column. This part I have working, however, how can I get the checkbox to remain checked when this happens?

In a project I'm working on studying Regular Expressions in matching text in a text box to the regular ezpression. The indexes and lengths of matches in a text box are stored in a list box. When I click an index, I use the info to set the text box selection Start and Selection Length so I can quickly observe all of the matches in the text box by clicking or using the arrow keys to scan through the text box listings.
It works great except when large amounts of text are in the text box, some of the matches are scrolled off the visible area of the text box so it is necessary to manuall scroll throught the text box, which reduces the usefulness of the setup.Is there a way to get the text box to automatically scroll into hidden text that is marked with the selectstart and selectlength so they are all automattically displayed when the list box is clicked?
