Compare A Picture With Another?
Jun 19, 2010Okay what i what to do is to compare one picture to another continuously untill it finds a change and then launches my code. Picture 1 - A picture i put to the form Picture 2 - I wont this to take a picture in a certain area and compare it to the first picture. lets say the first screen shot it took didn't match 'Picture 1' then it will keep taking pictures until it finds something different and when it finds something different it will launch my code.
I dont know if this is the right way to go since i heard something about pixel scanning but that's to hard since you have to find the exact RGB of that pixel. Also theirs like billions on the screen so it would be hard to find a change of color on the screen and then launch a code after that and keep repeating.

I want to compare the contents of the input list (containing words (e.g., want, the) etc. to the ones of the trigger list (containign again words) and if a same entry (i.e. word) get the POS for both input word and trigger word from the relevant lists and put them into a property list. For example
input list (want, the, right)trigger list(want, there, wait)input list POS (verb, article, adjective)trigger list POS (verb, pronoun, verb)
Output property list (want:verb, want:verb) (only want is common between input and trigger list). Then I need to conduct a test between the two property items for similarites. If they are exactly the same, the code should output a confirmation "i.e., Yes" into a textbox. If not the code should output a "No" plus the contents of the property list into a textbox.

Dec 31, 2009so here is my scenario. I have two input files... both are plain text files. File1 has customer name, customer address and invoice number. File2 has customer name, customer address, invoice number AND a keyline. File1 will only contain some of the records in File2, and it will change daily. I need to be able to compare File1 against File2 and output one file (preferably an Excel spreadsheet) with the info from File1 and the keyline from File2, that matches the duplicated info. I know the basics to get it to work, but I'm not sure what would be the easiest way of doing this... File2 can have up to 100,000 records per day. I'd only need to run it once a day though.

VS 2010 - Image Resources - Make A Picture Box And Import An Image
Sep 17, 2010I made a picture box and imported an image named Title.jpg. Later I made adjustments to the picture and imported it again without deleting the original(mistake). The new one had the name automatically changed to Title1.jpg. So I deleted the original image from resources and renamed Title1.jpg back to Title.jpg.
Now I got two problems. First, only Title.jpg is on the solution explorer, but Title1.jpg(along with Title.jpg) still pops up on the resource list when I click on Image property of the picture box. There's only the name and no picture, and I don't see a delete option. How do I get rid of it? Second, even though I changed the image to the new Title.jpg in the picture box, the old one is displayed when running the app. What's up with that?

Dec 25, 2011and i need to convert the image into a text.now anyone thinking that i can just use ocr is unfortunatly wrong i have tried about 5 of them and they dont work because the text in the image is to small for it to recognise it.so i need to search the above image for a smaller image such as this.so by doing this if i get a result saying true then i will be able to go from be there and convert to text.now i know of two way to search an image for a smaller image. first is by going by pixel search and well i can get that to work but it is to slow.the second method is to convert the image to a byte array(beig an image it will be a 2d byte array) and convert the other image to a byte array and then compare.

Dec 1, 2011We stream the BBC news channel through a laptop hooked to a PC in reception for our clients. Annoyingly the stream is interrupted randomly (the line isn't dropping, it's the BBC's problem). Therefore when it's interrupted we get an error screen appearing which we have to go and manually refresh to get the stream back playing.
My intentions are to build an app which will be run alongside (silently) the stream monitoring intermittently a range of pixels. If the range matches the error screen that I mentioned previously then I'd call "Esc" to exit the full screen and then "F5" to refresh the browser and finally a double click on a specified coordinate to bring it back to full screen.
Problem: I've been doing some googling and so far have only seen related posts where the comparison is between two saved images. Due to this I expect the answer to be "Take a screenshot every now and then, compare, return result".

May 6, 2012I'm working on a project that will compare two textboxes and output the difference in a third textbox. To provide some background what I'm trying to do is compare a users active directory groups to another users groups. What I want this program to output is the groups the user already has, groups that need to be added, groups that need to be removed(basically unique values).comparing text will output an integer, or boolean. I need the actual difference outputted in text to have a working document of changes to groups.
Here is an example of what I want it do, but i'm only able to get it working using an excel macro.
