I want to grab Top 10 most Ordered product by customer... Im counting how many lines that this product have been ordered .

Ive done this in other database using LIMIT 10.. but here in SQL server the result of that query is the bottom record's
I'm trying to generate a report that shows the products ordered for a given customer.
I'm getting an error on the line that states:

The error message states: Column 'ProductCode' does not belong to table Customers.
I have three tables: The Customer Table, which points to the Invoice Invoice table via the CustomerID.
Also, the Invoice table, which contains the product code, points to the Invoice table via the InvoiceID.
If possible I'd like to bring in the Products table to get the Product description.

Sometimes when I insert a new row to a table in my database, it comes before the last row.I will explain. If I have the following table:

When I select a row from my gridview by clicking on a linkbutton called 'Modify' and is the last cell in the row. Using the code below I can retrieve the key value from within the GridView1_RowCommand sub and move to the modify screen with the correct data.

When I try to access the first row it returns the first row value from the original Gridview and not from the re-ordered one.
I have searched the Internet and this forum for any help on making specialized lists in a Richtextbox instead of the default bulleted list (i.e: Numbered, Upper Roman, Lower Roman, etc.). I know that the default Richtextbox only supports Bulleted lists. I have tried to find a custom Richtextbox control that does it and nothing.I found this code snippet on another site, but after messing with it for a while I just put this on the back-burner while I worked on other things.

IN one application, I need do the following: When user press one button, show a combo box with ptoducts kinds, and the application create a new record in the database. Next, and automatically, I wanna another form to be opened, with all the complementary values of this products, for the operator complete the values.My problem is: The form cant be the same, cause each kind of product show one different form Open the detail form, how can I know what record ID was created??
In later use, the products will show in DGV and double click works. But at the product open, I wanna this form apeear automatically.

My application needs to be able to be pointed at different SQL Servers and different databases and I would like to provide the end user with a nice method of selecting both the server and database (the app is for use by other IT staff).Ideally, I was thinking of allowing them to browse to the server (with possibly entering credentials or even better, using their Windows credentials as the databases in question should be accessible to the relevant people via their AD account), and then listing the databases on that server allowing them to select one to use.
I would like them to then be able to easily change the server and database whenever necessary.I imagine I would then need to build the connection strings based on what they select but at the moment I have got rather stuck in just trying to create a form with some kind of Server Browser (I've not got as far as a database browser!).Failing some kind of server/database browser options, I would change to some simple text boxes where the user can enter the name of the server and database directly with some kind of connection verification button.
Finally, is it easy to connect to multiple databases on the same SQL Server at the same time? Is it just a case of creating and referencing multiple connection strings?I am using VB 2008 Professional and SQL Server 2005 Standard.
The DB has a field "end date" and 1753/1/1 is supposed to be the value representing nothing, as we cannot assign null to datatime in sql server..
In reporting application the select querry used, gets the data including those 1753 date values. good
Problem 1753 date causes hell with report calculations. there are a lot of calculations in the report and changing the code to ignore 1753 will be a headache, so i was thinking Is there a way to tell sql server,

The datatable holds data that is returned from the SQL DB as varbinary and is stored in the datatable as a byte array. I am attempting to pass TheData!Hash which is also a byte array.
When I need to filter the datatable I have use the following:
Dim sQuery0 As String = "Hash=" & TheData!Hash
Dim ResultRows As DataRow() = dt.Select(sQuery0)
I understand that the TheData!Hash is a byte array and cannot be converted to a string in this way but how on earth do I pass the byte array in the Select filter expression?
I'm currently trying to create an Information System of customers who does have different prices for one generic set of products. For example, there's a list of customers, then once you choose one, the system will show a generic product list but a set of price list specifically encoded for that specific customer. I'm sorry but i'm not that good with databases, and I'm using ms access as the database and VB.Net as the programming language.
