Create Symbolic Link In (fsutil +IIS6 + Work On Network)?

I want to use the function of fsutil, which can create the symbolic link for me. I have try to code in vb.net web application to call the cmd and input the command needed for create symbolic link, exampleit can be created a symbolic link between the two file under a local system network. But if I use the function for network, it cannot works because the IIS is not giving permission for those function. I wish to use it on network, using the Internet InformationMy vb.net code as below:

How can I find if a given file is a symbolic link? And once I know that it is, how can I get the target its pointing to? I'm using VB.NET in Visual Studio 2010.
I'm doing some directory work and in this directory, some of the subdirectories are symbolic links to a different location. I need to be able to determine which directly is a symlink and process them differently.
I am having great difficulty installing my app from a Click Once Deployment from my website using IIS6 I have done some searching online and I have carried out everything I can find but still nothing. I have tried with the .deploy option on and off and I get the error:The Page Cannot Be Found - HTTP Error 404 when I hit the 'Install' button and its trying to launch /setup.exe I have added the following into Mime Types:
.exe .manifest .deploy .Application
and I have Restarted IIS Service after the changes as documents somewhere.
i developing a small program for work. This program will run on multiable computers within my work. This program will access a ms database which will be held on the company network. What i need to do is check if any users have the database open on their desktop. I know how to check if the database is open on a local machine but i am not sure how to check if it is open on another users machine or what i could research around this, any direction would be great. I have various projects that use reflection to access and invoke private or internal members in some of the framework classes. These projects all work fine on my machine (running visual basic express 2008), but are they guaranteed to work on another machine, or, say, over a network? I've had a look at Reflection-Permission, but I'm not sure if I need that granting to me or if I grant it to my project!
i have finished build a simple inventory program. But this program just only work in single pc not at network. Could any body tell me how to make it work in network (multiple pc in network)?
According to MSDN, the Icon.ExtractAssociatedIcon method cannot accept a UNC pathname, which I think is totally absurd. Does anyone know of a work-around to extract the icon of a file on a network?

I have a list of rather meaningless codes that I'm processing with a VB.NET Windows application. For the business logic I'm writing to process those codes, I'd like to use meaningful constants (like ServiceNotCovered or MemberNotEligible) instead of the original codes (like "SNCV" and "MNEL").As far as I can tell, Enums can only map to numeric values, not to strings. So the best I've been able to come up with is a static class that exposes the constants as static readonly string fields that are internally set equal to the code values, as follows.

Here is my idea so far: I have a bunch of computers connected in a local network. One of them is a MySQL server, one will have a vb.NET program wich will act as a "second server" and the rest will be different clients. What I want to do is that the "second server" will send out some kind of message or network package to some of the clients in the network, and they will execute a code based on what message it is, or what kind of package it is. I'll give you a simple example:
I am trying to run simple application (e.g. generated from template by VS.NET 2010) on IIS6. I changed it to run with .NET 4.0 (its application pool) and checked with regiis (this pool has 4.0). I also changed all possible httpHandlers (svc etc), to run with NET4.0. All possible rights are checked (i think so). Almost every request results in "Server Application Unavailable" (sometimes it is empty page with -2146232576 (0x80131700) value) and "...Please review this log entry to discover what caused this error to occur." but EventViewer and IIS Log are empty.
I'm trying to create an array of three network utilities. They will basically flush dns, clear the arp cache and clear nbtstst. I want this to show in a rich text box as the commands are running. I'm running into a couple of issues that i can't figure out. First, I'd like each command to show in the RTB as it is run, and for that to stay in the text box while the rest of the commands run. I'm only seeing the last command that dns was registered successfully. Also I'm seeing an error saying the syntax for the ipconfig command is incorrect.

To create a dynamic folder in local drive it was generating, if suppose we need to create a folder in network path means error say that cannot access to the path is denied, how to resolve this issue , i m working on vb.net

I have a VB 6.0 code that creates file/directory on given path. If the path is local or a mapped drive then it's working fine but if I am having a network path like \netpathputfileshere" then it is not working. If I mapped "\netpathputfileshere" to some x: drive on local then it will work fine BUT I need not mapped this path. So is there any way to do this directly on network path. I get error for ChDrive "\netpathpullfileshere"

I have a column in my database that stores images that are links, when i populate them in a gridview on my asp.net page I want it to display the image as a link but when i did it i just get the text below.url...My goal is to have a list of the images and when a user clicks the image they will go to another page.
I am trying to create a Neural network project to do some basic tasks, and have created some structures which I am implimenting. However my problem comes when I try to loop through and populate the data. I am doing this with a For Each loop which seems to work but it seems to be populating a temporary copy of the structure in memory and not the structure being implimented
The code below shows my structures which i initially had as individual structures in a seperate module but then i nested them which seems to work the same, is there anyhting wrong with nesting the structures like this.

I want to create a program that will send data across my network to another computer. The data will be taken and used as sort of a command for the computer to load a webpage, or whatever I decide to do with it. I was familiar with the winsock control in Vb6.
i have novice skills in programming in vb.net,I just finish my project and applications for Data logic memoir wherein the data has been save to text file or SQL compact server database in the Handheld Device and use Active Sync Connection to pass Data into H/PC to Desktop P.C and Vice Versa.I just shift now to C#.net and start learning it and i just successfully transpose my Smart Device Project from VB to C#.
But now i want to Start Projects linking The device to server using Web services
I am looking for the best way to do this and from searching I think that injecting a DLL is the best route. I am 'simply' wanting to create a button or link label on a window from a compiled .exe I do not have source code to that will launch another program.
