im trying to make a short term ordering system for my major work for year 12 , i need to know how to run a timer in a label and progressbar at the same time , run by selections by combo boxes in another form.

I am having a pplication, where I need to send EMail to multiple persons one after the other, what I need to show is the Grid which is populated with the PersonName,EMailProgressBar, Status. I am using the DevExpressGrid so I had been able to bind grids with these three items and as an ColumnEditControl for the EmailProgress I had assigned Progressbar. But now what I am not able to do is show the Progress in grid one after the other as emails are being sent. I mean when the first email is sent the progressbar in first row should be active and as soon as second email is started it should showing progress for secod row of grid. I know it is easy said then done but I hope that there are some experts out there which may have done something similar in past or have some ideas.

While loading the data to the program the window freezes. It shows the progressbar but the progressbar is also freezing.How can i let the progressbar marquee while loading / freezing.
I have a form with an Adobe PDF reader control. I point to a specific PDF I want to load when a button is clicked. The PDF is 28 Megs big and takes some time to load into the reader. I would like a progress bar to to show (like a showdialog kind of thing) so the user does not click all over the place and thinks the app is static.
The PDF reader is loaded like this:

In the sense, a whole paragraph is displayed in one line and the next one in the next line and so on. I have a label that displays text kinda like a title to something (autosize = falseTextAlignment = MiddleCenter) and whenever the label control isn't wide enough to display the single line of text it tries to auto-wrap it causing half of the text to be chopped off at the top and half of it chopped off at the bottom. I'm currently making an application that involves time tables / scheduling. I'm required to generate a timetable for school teaching activities. in this application, I want to display the time slots using labels and I want to enable users to drag them around to place the subject cards in the available slots. I'm even confused with the control to use for the time slots. Right now I'm thinking of using datagridview for the time slot. So I'm trying to drag the labels around and placing them in the datagridview cells.

How do I get them to display these characters? Should I not use text files in this case or do I have to turn on some control-properties?

I went to the properties of my progect and when to the publish tab, and set it in there, but when I right click on my application, it still always says, 1.0.0.0.How do I make it so it will say the version that I have it set in the publish tab?I am not publishing them to the internet,I don't have and FTP or what ever you need, plus I don't think there is a point to publish my programs, they are low level compared to everyone else who programs.
One more thing.If I want to make it so the application is done for that version, and is ready to be used on other computers, should I just use the app that is in the debug folder, or should I build it, then use the one that would be in the release folder, or is there something better that I should do?

View 2 RepliesI'm running into a little problem making one combo box dependent on the selection of another combo box. I'm using a access back-end to this project. I have two tables: MajorCategoryTbl and MinorCategoryTbl , MajorCategoryTbl has PK and description field, MinorCategoryTbl has a PK, MajorID (foreign key), and description field. I have two combo boxes on my form, one that displays the Major description, and one that displays the MinorCategoryTbl description, but the stored value is the PK for both. I want the selection of the minor category combobox to depend on what was selected in the major category combobox.
