I have a Comobox1 with Text within it, i want to be able to allow a user to click on any text with in the Comobox and when the user clicks Add the Text should show up in ListBox1 how do i do this?

Im Writing a Program, and wondering how do i go about getting Text from a Comobox1 to show up in Listbox1? i also have lblCount.Text with 2 button increasing and decreasing quantities in lblCount.Text how do i get that showing on Listbox1 as well along side the Text of Comobox1

i have a form with 3 combo boxes. The value of the combo boxes generates a sql query with 3 parameters. The sql generates a RDLC report.
For example:
Combox1 with values(v1,v2,v3,ALL)
Combox2 with values(v1,v2,ALL)
Combox3 with values(v1,v2,v3,4,ALL)

QueryWithParams:SELECT * FROM Table WHERE Column1=@c1 AND Column2=@c2 AND Column3=@c3 Ok the problem is when the selected value is ALL in the combo X, i cannot get the values because i must change the query and kick out the parameter.For example:If the combo1,combo2,combo3 have the values ALL. I don't need parameters.SELECT * FROM Table IF the combo1 is ALL.SELECT * FROM Table WHERE Column2=@c2 AND Column3=@c3 If combo1 and combo3 are ALL SELECT* FROM Table WHERE Column2=@c2 Then in code I look which is the selected value of the combo and upon it i do the query.Is there a way that i do this thing without generating all 8 types of queries?PS. I have the following problem: I have a combobox in my application. Sometimes the data inside are too wide to be displayed (see here). Is it possible to use tooltiptext to display the whole data line if the user stands on this line? Or perhaps sending the whole data to a right-click context menu? If so - how?
View 1 RepliesI have a vb.net application that uses Flash movies (AxShockwaveFlashObjects.AxShockwaveFlash). I have buttons in the flash movie. When they first start using the application, they can single click on the buttons in the flash movie and button responds accordingly. But after a while (and I haven't been able to pin-point an exact thing that changes it or my issue would be solved), the user has to double-click on the button in the flash movie for them to work.

The text is black. then, i have a button which calls the dialogue "Notes" A dialogue appears, with a rich text box. the user should then be able to enter text into the box, click "OK", and the text entered into the Notes dialogue be inserted to the rich text box on the main form -- with the font colour "Red". The rest of the text in the main rich text box on the main form should remain black.
View 2 RepliesI'm Making a Simple syntax highlighter and I'm Doing the highlighting in the text Changed event of a RTB and for obvious reasons I can't re highlight the whole document each time someone presses a key so i highlight one line each time the text changes. But this creates a Problem. If someone pastes code into the RichTextBox It only highlights the last Line. So is there a way to get if the user typed the text in with his keyboard or pasted it from the clipboard in the text Changed event?
View 6 RepliesI was developing my own project in the university so what i am stack is to have save button which firstly validates what the user enters the form. for instance if the user skips the text fields, i wanted to restrict the user to fill all the form and when he completes, the save must be accomplished.
Here's the code i was trying to put but i was having problem saying the windows.forms.etc is unable to convert the save as Boolean and something like that.

i have a couple of questions 1- i have a button when the user click on it the current row in the DGV will be deselected and the next row will be selected.(i know that there is this option in the binding navigator but i need to do it manually.) so how can i do that?

How will I know if the use click only at the first column? I have two columns in the datagridview and populated with data, what I want to achieve is that the user need to click only on first column and not to other columns.
