Making A Clock Timer?
May 15, 2009I had a Line drawn from design view, and a circle also drawn in design view. Now like a clock, I want the Line to follow around the circle, this will be mostly a timer, or something. So far i have

Making A Timer Form And Event?
Jan 23, 2011I am currently developing an application in which I would make a form full size automaticly.On the location where I set the time parameters, lets say, I want an event to occur every 2 hours, in which the event would be a form becoming full-sized and, on that form a clock which would show that the form will resize on its original state after lets say, 15 minutes.And also I would like to disable the Windows Start keys.I tried some codes but they were for an event if the key is pressed.For this I need the keys to be disabled as soon as I start my application.For the full size form I have used this code:

Apr 7, 2010Alright, so what I'm looking to do is make a dock or some other thing that I can hide/show for programs. Kind of like a shortcut holder. how to approach the issue. I'm thinking maybe I could make a new button based on some settings in the VB thing, but that seems rather inconvenient. Dec 6, 2010I have an app that basically monitors states, then when a state has changed, a notify form is triggered to show for the user.Timers are used on the form to showing a fading in/out of the form (somewhat like MS Outlook new email notification windows).I'm using a delegate from the main form to show the form, but when the first timer in the form is set to start, the timer's tick event is never ran. Everything up to that point in code works perfectly though.Is there something I need to do in order for the tick event to fire, like it would without the use of a delegate to show the form?[code]

If the program is open it puts Running in a label, if it isn't running it says not running.What I want to do is repeat this process every 5 or 10 seconds. Feb 19, 2009I'm currently writing a countdown timer on vb 2005, with the following characteristics: When I press a button and the timer is running, it adds time to the counter, for example, if the time is 2:30 and I press a button, and the period to add is 1:10, the new time would be 4:40. The window is always on top of every other window, and is active even though it doesn't have focus. When the time's up and i press a key, in this case Esc, the application closes, otherwise, it just continues. [Code]

Mar 31, 2011I have created a windows service and I have two different timer variables in there. 1st one fires off every 5 seconds and then does whats it is required to do. The second one fires every 30 seconds.
I make sure that when the function are getting executed I disable both the timers and enable once the function is complete.My problem is my second longer (30 second ) timer never fires only the first one is firing. I had created this service 3 months ago and it was working fine till now. But now I do not see the timers work properly in a simple windows app i created to test their workings.
