I wish to convert image 24bit RGB pictures to an RGB (or BGR) array of byte, and convert back array to RBG. I need speed, so I was suggested to use memorystreams, but have no idea where to start.
have this code:
Friend Shared Function RGBArrayToImage(ByRef RGBArray() As Byte, _
ByRef Rows As Integer, _
In my project I am using a camera to capture images. The images will be stored in a byte array. Now I want to display my images in byte array to picture box on my form. I am pasting the code bit below.
HTML Declare Sub CopyMemory Lib "kernel32" Alias "RtlMoveMemory" (ByRef Destination As Byte, ByRef Source As Byte, ByVal Length As Integer) Delegate Sub MyFrameHookerDelegate(ByVal FrameType As Integer, ByVal row As Integer, ByVal Column As Integer, ByRef lpImageAttribute As TIMAGEATTACHDATA, ByRef Buffer As Byte) Public ImageBuf() As Byte [Code] ....
I want to display the image from ImageBuf() to a picture box on my form.
I want to send a image to server side using HTTPService,I am using ASP.NET for server side coding. I don't know how to write server side code to receive the image sent as a byteArray, and I am also not sure if my client side code is correct or not。is there any IT PRO..[code]I could not get the image in my disk,I think the flex side should have not problem, but the VB code side should be something wrong.
I'm currently creating a web service that will allow the user to access a staff directory that is stored in an XML document format on a server. What I've managed to do so far is load my XML document into the server, convert the entire contents into a string and send it over SOAP to my client. The client successfully receives the entire content of the string. My problem however is that I'm finding it hard to find a technique that will allow me to convert my string back into an XML structure. I used a messagebox in the client to display the contents to make sure everything is received and all is well. Below is the code I'm using on the server side to convert the XML document to a string.[code]....
Basically what I'm now trying to find out is simply how to convert an Executable file into byte or byte array as i've heard it called, and then back again. I had a friend used to do it with a program in VB6 a few years ago where he would convert the EXE into byte and store it in a sql database and then his boss would be able to retrieve it later on when he was out on business overseas and it seemed to work very well.I'd like to know how to do it in VB.NET, however after going through some sites using google search I have come up short.
This is my first time posting on the site, but I have found it very helpful in the past. I'm a self taught VB.NET developer and I have run across two questions.1) I'm working on a clients site to add a dynamic billing amount that is determined on what drop down list value is selected or what string gets input into the text box. I'm using nested case statements for this since it seemed a little easier, I'm also using two string arrays to hold my variables for use later on. Here is my question, since I am using strings for my variables do I need to convert them into integers to add them? I know the amp sign "&" is used for combining strings and whatnot, but does the plus sign "+" add the values together or combines them? I know if I convert the string to an integer then convert it back to a string that it will cause more processing to be done and I don't want that. What would be my best option in this case?
2) As for my second question, what's the best way to find an exact string? I have used InStr() before for small checks and it works just fine. But I was wondering if using str.Contains() is better suited for this task. From my understanding, InStr() looks for a relevance of the string you're looking for and str.Contains() looks a little more closely to better find what it is you're looking for. The reason I need to find an exact match is that if the user inputs 10 in the textbox, the code won't give them the price for 1. I have 4, 6, and 8 defined in the drop down list so I'm not worried about those. Would adding pound signs "#" around the string I'm looking for help narrow it down to only what I want?
As for the code, it's not completed. I just started it and began wondering on what was the best way of doing this. Private TUITION_COST As String() = {"900", "1800", "2700", "3600", "4500", "5400", "6300", "7200", "8100", "9000", "9900", "10800"}
I'm currently working on a program that would take the binary data from my access database and convert it back into jpeg format so I can store the images in a folder. I'm really new to VB so right now I'm pretty much stumped.
Code: Option Explicit On Public Class Form1 Private cn As ADODB.Connection
This is a related to a previous question I have asked here, see the link below for a brief description as to why I am trying to do this.Regular expression from font to span (size and colour) and back (VB.NET).Basically I need a regex replace function (or if this can be done in pure VB then that's fine) to convert all ul tags in a string to textindent tags, with a different attribute value for the first textindent tag.For example:
<ul> <li>This is some text</li> <li>This is some more text</li>[code].....
Basically I want the first ul tag to have no indenting, but all nested ul tags to have an indent of 20.
I need to map the location of all the back pixels in an image into some kind of structure. The program later uses the structure to select a random pixel location. It then removes the location, to prevent it being used again. The problem is, there is a huge number of black pixels (close to 40,000) so an ordinary array takes forever to search for and eliminate the "used" pixels. Is there some other "Faster" data structure?
The coding below is to retrieve the Raw Image Data from the Database and then write as a JPG image file. The problem is the image file (image.jpg) is "nothing" after file created. I guess there is something wrong in the following coding.
fs.Write(rawData, 0, fileSize)
No any runtime errors I can find, and I double check rawData (i.e. Buffer) contains data. But don't know why there is "nothing" inside the image (image.jpg).
Private Sub Button2_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button2.Click Dim fileSize As Integer Dim rawData() As Byte
How do you convert a System.Drawing.Bitmap image to any other type of image? I tried CType, which failed, since I do not know the type for .png or .jpg. I cannot find it anywhere on google either. What is the most efficient method to do this, which keeps the quality of the image as high as possible?
I have a code that takes the pink out of a image and makes it transperent. So its just the image no color around it. How do i make a shadow for that image like below to make it look like it has its own shadow?
i have a program were you import a image with a red back and the red disapeers and turns transparent using this code. But it uses a bitmap as a image holder and bitmap does not support transparacy. So i need a image bitmap so i dont know what else to do
I am trying to use socket to transfer byte to client. I define Byte(1024) because I am not sure how many character is the server sending! I don't know how many index of this array has been occupied!?
I've been up for nearly 24 hours now. Trying to program an application for a game I have been playing.I've run in to a problem, I'm not sure how to solve.I have basic knowledge when it comes to VB (college class) so bare with me.[code]My only Idea would be loops to figure out where each of the edited numbers are in the array, But I was looking for something simple. Also, would it be easier to work with the bytes rather than edit them in string form?
I have a StringArray that is filled with line of text and I need to take each array of strings and convert them to byte. How
Dim splitText() As String = TextRead.Split(Chr(13)) Dim byteArray() as string = Byte.Parse(splitText(0))
once I can get one element of the string array to convert to Byte I will put a loop around it for each position in the string array but it says the string format is not correct for the byte.parser.
I'm stuck at a little Problem. Well I got an Image in a Picturebox and need it to convert it in a Bytearray to store in an Imagecolumn in a Database. I do know how to convert a FILE to a bytearray, but I'm stuck at this. would be appriciatet. This is what I got so far, but like I said, it didn't work properly.
I currently have a picture box and it has a MouseHover event. When the picture box is hovered the picture will change images. But when it is not being hovered upon I need the picture to switch back to the original image. Is there anyway to do this.
Currently I have: Private Sub picOpen_MouseHover(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles picOpen.MouseHover picOpen.BackColor = Color.White End Sub
When declaring a byte array, what is the difference between the following? Is there one, or are these just two different ways of going about the same thing?
I got a form and a checkbox with default names. In the form1 load event, I need to check the binary data of a registry key. If data is 00 00 00 00 the checkbox will display a check mark If data is 1b 00 00 00 the checkbox will shows nothing
Here is my code Private Sub Form1_Load(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Me.Load Dim b() As Byte = {0, 0, 0, 0} Dim a() As Byte = My.Computer.Registry.GetValue("HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftware", "Test",String.Empty) If a Is b Then CheckBox1.Checked = True End If
I gotta change my HexString to ByteArray. so I have this getHello String.
CODE:
And I have the function I found out here.
PHP
CODE:
Alright so the code doesn't work. "Index was out of outbounds array". Is there someone whome can make a right function that will change the HexString to ByteArray?
