I need a pattern for an asp.net validator that's for a phone extension field on the entry part of the page. I need it to allow a single digit up to 5 digits. I was able to use this pattern "d{5}?" until the requirements changed to "up to 5 digits" on me.

I have three required field validator ,in that 2nd validator should not fire even if I don't enter any any value in the textbox. I tried with Javascript. But couldnt do it.

and this is all Ive tried so far:
(+63|0)?d{10}
the problem is that it match 2920111222 in 29201112222. How can i create a pattern that will match only the formats below?
+63XXXXXXXXXX
0XXXXXXXXXX
+63 or 0 plus 10 digit number only.where X are all digits from 0-9.

Also i have the callback event handler for get the line status and write the log. But my tapi call is not going the status except DAILING,PROCEDING,CONNECTED,DISCONNECTED and IDLE. Its not showing the line busy, phone swithed off status. Please guide me regarding this.

In my application I have fields where a phone number can be copied and pasted in a field. I want to strip that number of ),(,- and spaces. I want to use a function so I can just give the number a value like:

Im pretty use to doing loops (although still relative new to vb) in my code however am having difficulty setting up one that picks up an entry in one data table and then sums a field in another where records have matching criteria. Example:

What i am trying to do is set up a datagridview on a form that shows the summary data. The time is controlled on the form by a trackbar (output to textbox) and I started setting up a loop using (For/Next) to isolate firstly the matching entries in field 3 (time). This works fine. I then used compute to sum the the field 2. However what i want to do is to loop through table 2 and where entries match i.e. where Field 1 in table 2="A" sum matching entries in table 1 where the DateTime matches.

Is there any way to download only a part of a web-page? What I have is a program that downloads periodically (every 5 sec) a web-page and displays some real time information. So I would like to minimize the bandwidth as much as posible.
I have seen that many download managers have the ability to resume a download, so they actually have the ability to start from somwhere in the midle. So can I do that with a single web-page and without messing with the sockets if posible?

Assuming we have a model named WishList that has a list of gifts kids want for Christmas and the child's name. We want the elves to view the list of gifts, but only Santa Claus can view the child's name. Would it be best to have two views for the WishList (one for Santa and one for the elves) or is there another way to handle this? My concern is that the number of views can start piling as high as the snow does in the North Pole by the time I enforce all of the visibility settings required in my application.

The Leave event does not allow me to cancel and the Validating event on the tab page does not fire unless the user has at least visited the combo box field.
View 3 RepliesI am trying to subclass the password recovery control in asp.net (4) so that I can override the behaviour of the OnVerifyingUser event but I'm having trouble adding my subclassed password recovery control into the page. I tried creating an asp:placeholder control and adding a new instance of my subclassed control to it but I just get an error that says "An entry with the same key already exists". I've tried doing this in the page_init and page_load methods but get the same error.
