I am trying to put text of my dynamic textbox in some other textbox when user changes the selectedindex of a list.But dont know why it is giving me error's.

I want a text in my textbox in gray that dissapears when the user clicks in the textbox.I am not sure if that is a good enough explanaition so here is an example:You often have search boxes on websites or application.In the searchbox there often is a text like "search", "keyword", "type here".As soon as you click with your mouse inside the textbox it dissapears.I could make this in code but I was wondering if there already is a textbox property for this?

I wanted to simply on click a button to add those newly created textboxes to an array of textboxes. Starting with those labeled "Address". But I am finding this very difficult. I am able to add those originally on the form into the array very easily. But am unable to add the newly created textboxes into the array.
Here is my code so far below.

In my form, A user can do some stuff on my program which will create a new tabpage with a text box on it. The user also selects the name of the tab, which is then the name of the textbox with a "2" on the end of it.
What I need to know is how to get the texts from however many tabpage's textboxes there are and combine them into one textbox, as a sort of receipt.
What I was thinking, because I have this method of removing all the tabpages, is using a code like the one below maybe to do the job, not sure how I would alter it to work though. [code]...

I'm converting a user generated list box to an array and then generating a user defined number of random strings and placing it in a textbox.The code I have works fine as it will generate the number of random strings the user wants, except sometimes a line is blank at the top of the list but is counted as a string.

Is it possible to have a Textbox on a form that when the user inputs data, ( during Runtime )that data remains in the Textbox for good and the Textbox then becomes read only ? Is it also possible to make it so that the CD with the programme on, is in the PC when the programme is being used. Perhaps writing the Textbox data back onto the CD ?

I would like the autocomplete list of a textbox to be the words that the user has previously typed and saved. For example if they enter "dog", "cat" and "fish" I want the autocomplete suggests to show these three options. So far my Code only shows the last user input. I've build a list of Strings from files. The list itself is working fine (tried it by having ListBoxes and other controls loading its items from there just to make sure that this is not the issue). Now, I am using this list of strings to compare a Text in a TextBox1 while typing to determine if this TextBox1.Text already exists in the list. I have an application that allows the user to define text in a rich textbox. I would like to give the user the ability to define text for one or more languages. I don't think this will be a problem using the rich textbox as it allows for unicode characters and DBCS (please let me know if this is incorrect). My question is, I display this text throughout the app in other controls as well, such as a listbox, label, etc. by acquiring the RTF's Text property (plain text). Are there problems with other controls displaying unicode/DBCS characters? I realize that I may have to toggle the font of the control in question depending on the language (I will allow the user to specify a default font per language).

I am creating a Map Rotation Randomizer for my Call of Duty clan, and I am having an issue with understanding how to randomize the text from the list and placing it into another textbox.
Here's what it looks like right now:
All textboxes are multi-line.
When I click a button for a game (CoD4, MW2, WaW), it places the map list into the left textbox like:
mp_bloc
mp_broadcast
mp_crossfire
etc.
When I click the button with ">>>", I want it to randomize that list and place it into the right textbox like:
map mp_bloc map mp_broadcast map mp_crossfire
Or if I click it again:
map mp_crossfire map mp_bloc map mp_broadcast
And so on. I think I need to create an array, but I've never worked with those before as I'm still new to learning programming. I'm not even sure what controls I need to put on the form for that, if it even requires any.

i have 4 text box how can i display a messagebox that will prompt the user if theres any duplicate text on the four Textbox. Main idea: i just want everything that the user typed in each 4 textbox to be unique."i tried coding at the textbox that if the text box is change, that if theres another textbox with the same data i typed a messagebox will prompt. almost does it but, since i added a diaglogresult code that if i click yes the text box with the code will be change to a null object.. but since the other text box are null objects the messagebox will prompt me again..
